Hi.
This meditation is all about combining the notion of your root chakra and the root centre in the human design system.
Chakra balancing and energy healing both help you sit within your own energy.
They're tools to help you release resistance and become centred and whole once again.
The more you practice this realignment,
The easier it is to feel when you're out of balance and the easier it is to help yourself re-centre again.
It doesn't matter which system you use,
Whether it's the traditional chakra system or the human design system.
We all hold energy that's not meant for us and we can all release this energy with good energy cleansing and strengthening practices.
I know it can be difficult but try not to get caught up in the terminology of human design.
Sometimes it can feel at odds with the chakra system.
Let's sit and balance these now.
Sit or lie down,
Whichever feels good to you right now,
And get comfortable.
Allow your eyes to close or to unfocus.
Take a deep breath and relax all the muscles in your feet,
Your lower legs,
The tiny muscles that are around your knees.
Breathe out gently,
Letting these muscles get heavier and heavier.
Breathe in deeply,
Feeling the weight of your thighs,
The muscles around your hips,
Your buttocks,
Your back,
Your stomach,
Sinking slowly downwards.
Breathe out and let these muscles loosen and get heavy.
Breathe in,
Feeling the muscles in your hands and wrists,
Your lower arms and upper arms,
Become heavy and peaceful.
And breathe out,
Reminding your body that for these next few minutes,
Nothing is needed from it.
Breathe in,
Letting your shoulders and chest feel the gravity that connects you to the earth.
Breathe out and allow the small muscles around your eyes to relax.
Any tension in your jaw or tongue,
Any remaining stress lingering in your neck muscles.
Let it all go,
With thanks to your body for trying to keep you safe.
Assure your body that for now,
It is safe to relax.
Take slow,
Deep breaths.
Notice the breath as it enters and leaves,
Without trying to control it.
Allow your breath to be as quick or as slow as feels comfortable.
Allow any thoughts to come and to go,
Without judgement.
When thoughts come,
Bring your attention gently back to your breath.
Notice without judgement where the breath goes.
Direct your attention to the base of your spine and continue to breathe steadily.
Allow your breath to go here too,
Breathing into this area.
Acknowledge your root chakra.
If you have definition here in your human design body graph,
Any sensation you feel here might be familiar.
If your root centre is undefined or open,
Simply be aware that within your energy body,
You have everything that you need.
No matter what surplus energies you might be carrying,
No matter if you feel lacking in root energy,
Your energetic form is perfect.
You have everything you need.
Keep your attention on the base of your spine.
Visualise a vibrant,
Glowing red light here.
This light grows brighter with each breath,
Filling your root chakra area with warmth and energy.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your awareness to the physical sensations in your body.
Notice,
Without judgement,
Any areas of tension or discomfort.
Imagine the red light from your root chakra travelling to each area as you breathe.
Imagine it gently dissolving any stagnant energy or negativity stored there,
And release it with each exhalation.
Repeat this process for each area that you feel holds tension or negativity.
Some of them might be expected.
Your shoulders,
Neck,
Your stomach.
Some of them might be near to you.
Perhaps you hold tension in your bottom,
Or you clench your fists.
Notice these with interest.
They signify where you're trying to hold on to the world.
Let that warm,
Red,
Vibrant light dissolve this energy.
Dissolve this negativity.
And remind yourself as you release this tension that you are safely held.
The earth's strength is below you,
Supporting you.
See roots extending from your tailbone,
Deep into the earth.
Reaching and growing down through the floor,
Through the building if you're inside,
Through the soil,
In amongst all the vibrant living roots and creatures that live below ground,
Through underground streams,
And in between the infinitesimal cracks in the great bedrocks of the land,
All the way to the hot,
Glowing centre of earth.
See your tensions and worries that you've held so long in your body,
Transmuted by the earth as they travel down through these roots.
Feel the negative energies leaving your body and dissolving,
Absorbed and neutralised by the earth.
Imagine all the nutrients of the world flowing back up through the roots,
Nourishing you,
Filling each cell of your body with goodness,
Strengthening your energetic frequency.
You are grounded and safe.
Let that all-root energy fill your body.
Breathe into this feeling until it has become a part of you.
Allow this energy to flow freely as part of your energetic body,
Naturally in and out with each breath,
Bringing a sense of stability to your entire being.
With all that energy within you now,
See the roots gently dissolve.
Know that the energy has filled your auric field and will remain with you as you continue your day.
You can return to this feeling whenever you need to.
Feel your root chakra spinning steadily.
Feel clarity in your root centre.
A defined root centre can feel energised.
An undefined or open root centre can feel clear and free of the tension of conditioning.
Notice how this feels in your body.
Notice those areas of tension.
Notice the relaxation there,
The freedom and ease of energy flowing through those areas.
And come back to your breath.
Here,
When you feel ready,
Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
Move slowly.
Wiggle fingers and toes.
Open your eyes.
Feel safe.
Stay here for as long as you want.
