This meditation was created to accompany Change Your Focus,
Change Your Life to help elevate your practice from that session.
If you haven't listened to that session,

You can jump right in and do the work.
You can do this practice while working,
Driving,
Or sitting in a space wherever other people are present,
Or you can also do this practice in the privacy of your own home by calling others into your safe space visually during your meditation.
People that you know may be needing compassion,
Comfort,
And love,
And that is exactly what we will be doing today.
By doing this practice daily,
It will increase your focus on compassion for others,
And it will also increase positive and effective experiences for you.
You may even find your response is heightened to witnessing when others may be in distress.
Not only have kindness meditations shown promise in helping to decrease depression and social anxiety,
But they have also increased positive feelings such as love,
Joy,
Cheerfulness,
Appreciation,
Fulfillment,
Amusement,
And complete awe.
You will find yourself with higher overall life satisfaction,
Which I think is more than enough reason to practice this great meditation daily wherever you find yourself in the moment.

Imagine the possibilities when you share the energy that will come from this kindness meditation with those you come in contact with.
Yes,
This meditation is known for cultivating loving kindness towards others,
But a huge benefit is that it can also help you to let go of overthinking and concentrate on calming that busy mind.
Let's begin.
Make yourself comfortable.
Feel free to sit in an upright position,
Lay down,
Or do whatever feels great for you in this moment.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze downward.
Tune into your breath,
Noticing the natural rhythm of your breathing.
Breathing in through your nose and out through your nose.
Again,
Breathe in through your nose,
Out through your nose.
Now,
Try breathing in through your nose with an audible exhale,
Releasing any tension that you might be holding.
One more through your nose,
And this time,
Exhaling with an even more audible and powerful exhale.
Now,
I want you to pick one person,
Whoever grabs your attention naturally.
Notice this person in your mind's eye.
Observe every aspect of this person.
What do you see?
Recognize that this is a person with hopes,
Dreams,
Fears,
Regrets,
Memories,
And loved ones.
Just like you,
This person wants to be happy.
Offer a simple phrase of loving kindness in your head,
Such as,
You are loved.
You are love.
May you live with ease today.
You are loved.
You are love.
May you live with ease today.
You are loved.
You are love.
May you live with ease today.
Move on to another person.
Visualize that person in your mind's eye and allow yourself to enjoy the practice of dropping the same or maybe even different kindness bombs on him or her.
Let your intuition guide you on the phrases that come up for each individual person.
Continue doing this for several minutes or as long as you desire,
Bringing in as many people as you would like that you feel need these kind,
Loving energy sent their way.
If you run out of people,
You can return to someone that you have already visited.
Or you can offer yourself a little kindness.
Now take a deep inhale through your nose with an audible exhale sigh to let it all go.
Now take a deep inhale through your nose with an audible exhale sigh to let it all go.
Feel the connection to your body.
Notice the sensations in your body.
Bring your hands to heart's center.
Feel the warmth and the connection with your heart.
When you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Take a moment to really embrace the present moment.
Notice how the mind feels.
Notice how the body feels.
Notice how the heart feels.
Know that you are loved.
Know that you are loved.
Know that you are loved.
You can do this practice anytime,
Anywhere.
I encourage you to do this practice in public with passerbys or even in your workplace daily.
Simply seeing people,
Seeing that we are all connected,
Recognizing that we all have hopes and dreams,
Fears and regrets,
Memories,
And loved ones.
We are all one.
We all desire to feel loved and be loved.
And you are gifting them that by sending them these energetic kindness alms.
