Before we do anything else.
I want you to take a moment to come back to you.
Right here,
Right now.
Because that crazy mindset that may have followed you into the room is going to gently be asked to leave.
And so this is what I want you to do.
Take one big,
Slow breath in.
And let all of that anxiety,
All of that energy,
All of it just release and pour out.
I want you to ground yourself with me right here,
Right now.
All of that outside noise is gone and I can feel you with me right now in this moment.
I see you.
And I know that if you're listening to this.
I'm going to assume.
Something about you.
That you are capable.
That you are strong and that you've handled a lot.
But like all of us,
You still have those moments when you don't feel like you're driving your own life.
Maybe you feel pulled by other people's needs,
By the noise,
By your hormones,
By stress,
By the old patterns that kick in before you even realize what's happening.
So today,
It's not about becoming someone new.
I don't want you to become a new person.
I want you to come back to the woman that you already are.
Because when you are regulated,
Clear,
Grounded,
And self-led,
Because a self-led woman doesn't mean a woman who.
.
.
Doesn't struggle.
We struggle.
We are women.
We struggle.
But it means when she does struggle,
She knows how to return to herself without spiraling,
Without abandoning herself,
And without performing strength.
So let's begin with the truth that will change everything.
You don't need more willpower.
That's not what this is about.
You need more internal safety.
Because when your nervous system feels unsafe,
You will people please.
You will overthink,
Overfunction.
And second guess.
You will react.
You will shut down,
And you will say yes when you mean no.
Maybe you stay quiet when you are actually burning inside.
That is not a personality flaw.
That's a woman's instinct.
And the most powerful thing that you can learn,
Especially as a woman navigating this stress.
Identity shifts,
Relationship dynamics,
Or your hormonal changes is how you come back to center.
So here's what I want to give you today.
I want to give you a definition.
A reframe,
And a simple practice that you will use throughout this entire course.
Because self-led means that you are guided by your values.
You are guided by your body's wisdom.
By your truth.
Your boundaries,
And always guided by your next right step.
You're not guided by guilt.
Urgency.
Maybe the fear of disappointment or the need to be liked.
By other people's mood swings,
Right?
Being self-led means that you stop outsourcing your decisions to the room.
You check in with you first.
And yes,
This is a practice,
Not a personality.
We're not changing your personality.
We're coming back to you.
So let's be honest.
If you're anything like me,
This is where I have a tendency to lose myself in one of these three places.
I have a tendency to lose myself when I feel the need to be urgent,
Right?
I rush,
I react,
I try to fix it.
I lose myself in approval.
Because sometimes we perform,
We soften,
We overexplain.
Sometimes we lose ourselves in avoidance.
We will shut down.
We will procrastinate.
And we will numb out.
So here's my coaching question for you.
Which one?
Is your default.
Maybe it's the urgency or approval,
Or maybe it is the avoidance.
But I want you to just notice.
The first thought that came to your mind when I asked you that question or when I mentioned those three that I struggle with,
What was the first one that came to your mind?
No judgment.
I want you to know that that first thought,
That's your intuition saying,
Hey,
Let's look at this.
You can name it.
That is when you can change it.
So I want to teach you a skill that I call the return.
It's a two minute reset that you can do in real time in real life.
This work is done.
Not on a perfect morning,
Not on a relaxing,
Glorious retreat at a spa.
It's what you're going to do in the middle of your real life day.
So let's begin.
I want you to put one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly.
And what we're doing is telling your body,
I'm here.
I'm listening.
I'm ready.
If your eyes aren't shut already.
And you didn't feel that deep within.
Let's try it again with your eyes shut.
I'm here.
I'm listening.
And I'm ready.
Now take a nice deep breath,
Filling your entire chest and belly with air.
Exhale.
Long.
Audible if you want to release that stress.
One more time,
Nice deep breath,
Filling your head,
Your heart,
Your stomach,
Your feet,
All that glorious oxygen.
Hold it.
Nice long exhale.
Now ask yourself slowly.
What am I feeling right now?
Name it simply.
Anxious.
Heavy.
Irritated.
Sad.
Tender.
Scattered.
Numb.
What is true right now?
Not the whole story,
Just the truth of this moment.
I'm overwhelmed.
I'm scared.
I'm hurt.
I'm so tired.
I don't feel supported.
I don't know what I want yet.
And now,
What do I do next?
Not,
What do I need forever?
Not,
I need to fix everything right now.
Just the right next need.
Right now.
Again,
What is the first thing that comes to your mind?
Go with that.
This is your soul talking to you right now.
Maybe that need is a simple drink of water.
A pause.
A lot.
Maybe it's a boundary.
It's that hard conversation that you know you need to have.
Maybe it's more support.
More space.
Healthy food.
It may even be a cry.
This is self-led leadership in real life.
Because when you meet your own moment with truth and care,
You truly stop abandoning yourself.
So now let's talk about an actionable integration.
Because I want to give you one simple assignment,
And I promise it's gentle,
Doable,
And so powerful.
For the next seven days,
I want you to practice the return.
Two minutes.
That's it.
And then I want you to write one sentence after doing the practice.
That sentence will read,
Today I return myself to blank.
It can be tiny.
Because tiny,
My friend,
Can be so powerful.
Maybe that looks like I return myself by drinking more water throughout the day to keep myself hydrated.
Or I return myself by saying,
You know what?
Let me think about it.
Maybe it looks like I return to myself by taking a walk instead of letting my ego spiral.
Or maybe I return to myself by telling the truth.
Without overthinking the consequence.
This is how you build a self-led life.
We're not building through dramatic life changes,
But through consistent returns to self.
And that,
Beautiful,
Is going to open doors for empowerment.
And in closing,
I wanna leave you with this.
You don't have to be perfect to be powerful.
You don't have to have it all figured out to be self-led.
You just have to be willing to come back to yourself again and again with grace instead of judgment.
And I want you to know that you are magnificent.
You are returning.
And this is just the beginning.
And if something in today's session landed for you,
Please don't rush past that.
Sit with it.
Let that integrate.
And choose one small step that you can take today to honor what you heard.
That is how this work becomes real life.
And if you loved this session,
It would really mean the world if you would leave a review,
Because that will help reach more women who need it.
Until next time,
Remember,
Less performing,
More living,
Less pleasing,
And always,
Always more truth.
