Welcome.
This is a brief meditation to find peace.
Begin by closing your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through the nose.
Open your mouth and sigh it out.
Inhale again through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh out anything that isn't serving you.
One more time.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh.
Can you let go?
Can you release whatever is holding you back?
For these next few moments,
For these next few breaths,
Allow your mind to wander.
Begin to imagine that you are standing in the middle of a field.
It's a warm day.
The sun shines upon your skin.
You feel a gentle breeze through the air.
Take a moment to see all that is around you.
Notice any smells that hang in the air.
Wander around this field,
Knowing that you have nowhere to go and nowhere to be,
But simply here.
Here in this field.
Here in this moment.
Here with yourself.
I invite you to find somewhere to sit or lie down in this field with yourself and simply breathe.
Listen inward and see all that you see.
As you sit or lie down and breathe,
Turn your attention inward.
Listen to the messages within yourself.
And as gently as you enter this space,
Begin to make your way back,
Taking some gentle movements,
Wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Noticing your breath,
And gently opening your eyes.
