Hi everyone.
Welcome to your Hekate guided meditation.
Come into a comfortable seat.
Close your eyes and get really comfortable.
You may choose to sit or lie down.
And before we get started,
I just want to talk a little bit about creativity and imagination and the goal of meditation.
The goal when we're entering into a transcendent state,
A deep state within our meditations,
Is to stretch beyond our regular way of being to reconnect within the center of the self to reconnect with the soul and to allow your imagination to wander.
So as we work with Hekate,
She is often depicted as having torches,
Torches to be able to light the darkness,
To illuminate the path.
She also often has keys,
Keys that can represent opening the gate or a key as a gift,
A key to lead to a deeper world,
Either internally or externally.
Oftentimes her meditations take place in a cave,
And as we journey into those dark places,
We open up more to the possibility of seeing her and working with her.
And working with her.
Today's meditation will take place in a forest to start,
And we'll see where we go from there.
The sacred fire that is within Hekate,
The fire of the torch is a way to talk about getting rid of that which no longer serves destruction.
It could also be about igniting passion and a fire within to accomplish great things.
So you can look at it as a burning away of or an igniting of.
While we are meditating,
Notice any symbols that come up.
Oftentimes the subconscious communicates not with words,
But with imagery.
So you may begin to see things within your meditations and then see those same things in your waking world.
And this can be a way for your spirits to communicate with you.
To be able to bring your subconscious into light in your everyday life.
Recollecting times of dreams or unexpected symbols or events are a great way to receive reassurance that you're on the right path.
Sometimes when we're not expecting this,
It can be startling and surprising.
And other times when we're not attuned to it,
These events may happen and pass us right by.
So I invite you to just be aware of that.
Go ahead.
If you don't already have it,
Grab a journal or something to write with and have it close by so that we can come out of the meditation,
Out of the trance,
You will be able to take note of anything that showed up for you.
And then afterwards,
I will give you some prompts around how you could dig deeper into the things that you saw.
Some of those ideas may be around emotionally.
How are you feeling?
What showed up for you?
Where in your body did you start to notice those things?
Any thoughts that came up?
Any areas of hesitation that you may have had?
What were you wearing?
What does the space look like that you're in when you're meditating?
What do you see?
What don't you see?
Was anyone with you or around you?
Did you hear anything?
Did you see any symbols?
Those kind of things are what you're looking for as we journey.
So go ahead and come into position.
Lying or sitting.
Silence your phone so you're not to be disturbed during this moment.
And close your eyes.
Inhale and exhale,
Sigh it out.
Do that again.
Deep inhale.
And deep exhale.
Close your eyes.
And imagine yourself standing in total darkness.
What do you hear?
What do you feel?
Look around you.
And as you search with your eyes,
The eyes of your soul,
You begin to notice a flame flickering in the distance.
You turn to the light.
You look at the light.
You turn towards the flame.
And you start to venture in that direction.
Breathe.
As you walk towards the flame,
You notice it gets brighter.
As you approach,
You see a torch or a lantern.
This flame,
The source is at a section of three crossroads with it a force.
Although it's still dark,
It's still a source of light.
The flame is illuminating the trees and the path beneath your feet.
You look down and notice what the path is made of.
And when you look back up again,
You see two large dogs.
And when you look back up again,
You see two large dogs.
You notice any feelings that come up.
Then you look back towards the flame,
And there is now a woman,
Hecate,
Standing with the flame.
She takes it in hand and starts to walk down one of the paths.
Instinctually,
You follow her.
You do not question where you're going,
Or she knows the way.
You trust her to guide you.
She ventures deeper into the forest.
Her flame lighting the way.
The dogs following.
They run ahead,
Clearing the path.
You notice that you're approaching a cave,
And Hecate walks inside without hesitation.
You ask permission to enter.
As you go inside,
The cave is dark.
She's so far ahead.
Her flame is tiny,
A tiny flickering of light.
You rush ahead to catch up.
When you do,
She is standing in the center of a large room at a cauldron.
Coming from the cauldron,
There are flames.
She stands across from you,
Moving her hand over the top,
Inviting you to look inside.
Breathe.
As you peer inside,
Notice anything that you see.
She tells you there's a gift for you in the cauldron.
You can reach your hand inside and take it without being harmed.
Without hesitation,
You thrust your hand down into the cauldron.
And when you retrieve it,
With it comes a gift.
You hold this in your hand,
Examining it.
You ask her what it means,
What it's for.
You ask her if there's anything you need to know about it.
Anything she wishes to tell you,
To reveal to you.
You reach down into your pocket and pull out a gift for her,
An offering.
If now is the time for her to accompany you on your journey,
You will have an offering for her.
You pull it out.
If anything is available,
And you can't wait to open it,
You can take it with you.
You hold it in your hands to her.
She decides if she will take it or not.
You ask her if now is the time to work together.
If now is the time that she will guide you.
You thank her.
And you bid her farewell.
You collect your things,
And you leave the cave.
Making your way back out into the moonlight now.
The light is bright and shining overhead,
Lighting your path,
Helping you find your way back.
You make your way back to the three crossroads.
The dogs follow so that you're safe and protected.
You turn to your back from the way in which you came.
And this time you see a house.
The front door from which you exited is open.
You retrace your steps.
Back into the home.
Back through the door.
Taking any final moments here in this space.
Seeing anything that you see.
Knowing that this space is available anytime you wish to return.
Giving your thanks to this moment.
Checking your pocket one last time to see if there's any gifts or anything,
Any offerings that need to be made to the home,
To the space.
And if there are,
You leave them there.
Perhaps this is a mark so you can find your way back.
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Taking time with yourself to make your way back.
Back to this room.
Back to this space.
If anything came up for you,
I encourage you to write it down.
If there were any gifts that you received,
Any images,
Any messages.
And if you provided any gifts or messages in return.
Take your time and be gentle with yourself.
I hope you have a beautiful,
Blessed rest of your day or evening.
Namaste.
