Welcome to this guided sleep meditation.
This meditation will guide you into a deep,
Restful sleep,
Whilst also helping you boost your confidence and self-esteem.
So now,
Just rest back comfortably and take a deep breath.
And as you breathe out,
Allow your eyes to close.
And let your entire body relax,
All the way from the top of your head,
Down to the tips of your toes.
And just imagine breathing in calmness and relaxation.
And breathing out any anxiety or negative feelings.
And as you do,
Allow a wave of relaxation to gradually make its way down your body.
Allow all of those muscles around your eyes to just let go.
And as every single muscle around your eyelids,
In your eyebrows,
Across your forehead and your temples,
Relaxes and lets go.
And down through your cheeks and across your jaw.
And every little muscle in your face just relaxes now.
Just letting go of any tension that may remain.
And remembering the more you relax,
The better you feel.
And the better you feel,
The more you continue to relax and just keep drifting down.
Relaxing further and further as that wave of relaxation continues to flow down.
Just relaxing all those muscles down across your chin.
And down through all the muscles of your shoulder and neck.
Down through your elbows,
Your forearms,
And your hands.
And now down through your chest and around to your back.
Relaxing deeper and deeper.
And continuing that wave of relaxation all the way down through your hips.
Across your knees,
Around the back of your knees.
Down through your calf muscles,
Around your ankles and your feet.
And even the soles of your feet.
Relaxing completely.
Just feeling perfectly,
Deeply,
Completely relaxed.
And now as you listen to my voice,
I'd like you to count down in your mind,
Backwards from the number 100.
Just see that number in your imagination.
Just see it in front of you.
Maybe that number has a color or is a specific shape.
And as you count backward from 100,
You can even whisper this now aloud.
As you're counting backwards from 100.
So that when with each number you count,
Your feeling of relaxation will again continue to deepen.
So 100,
Deeper.
99,
Deeper.
98,
Deeper.
97,
Deeper.
And you can just allow that deeper part of your mind to just continue counting as you drift and dream deeper and deeper into relaxation.
And you may have already noticed how much more relaxed and calm you are.
And you can wonder if there are other places in your body that can feel even more relaxed.
And continue allowing that relaxation spreading down.
Doubling your relaxation.
Allowing that wave of comfort to just wash over you.
Just like an ocean wave washes over sandy beaches.
You can feel so relaxed as you feel that warmth of the sun on that sandy beach.
And that wave of comfort and relaxation feels so good,
Calming,
And soothing.
As this is your time,
No one wants anything.
No one needs anything.
This is your time to just relax,
Let go,
And drift deeper and deeper into total relaxation.
And as this relaxation envelops your body,
For some of you this feeling may be one of the lightness or floating.
It may change from time to time,
But this matters little.
Whether you feel heaviness or lightness when drifting down into deep,
Relaxing sleep.
And it's all to your advantage.
But changes today may have already begun.
As you are taking the time now to make those changes for yourself in a positive way.
So those changes are beginning right now.
And perhaps you can notice that even as you relax.
There may be a tingling in your fingertips as you allow yourself to breathe comfortably and deeply.
And you know it doesn't matter if you feel that tingling in your fingertips.
Or your fingers,
Around your mouth,
Or even on the very soles of your feet.
As you may notice that this relaxation is continuing to spread at a deeper,
Deeper level.
As you listen to the sound of my voice,
Growing more comfortable,
Feeling calm,
Safe,
And secure.
And in this quiet,
Relaxed state,
It's easy to make changes in yourself.
To note those changes that you want to make.
As now is the time for you to make positive change for yourself.
And as you relax,
Feeling calm and peaceful and perfectly safe.
I'm going to ask you to imagine the most relaxing thing that you can think of.
And I don't know what will be the most relaxing,
The most relaxing scene that you can imagine.
But I can suggest some ideas for your deeper subconscious mind to associate to that wonderful feeling of relaxation and calmness.
So you might find yourself as a feather floating along in a calm breeze.
Or imagine yourself as a snowflake falling through a winter wonderland full of calmness and still.
Or maybe you'd like to imagine yourself as a bright blue balloon drifting along through the beautiful sky and rising higher into those soft,
Fluffy white clouds.
All the time relaxing even more as any remaining tension leaves each and every part now and every nerve,
Muscle and fiber of your very being.
Just drifting along and going wherever it is that your deeper mind wants to take you now.
And imagine yourself floating even further down to much,
Much deeper levels of calmness and relaxation.
Because it's a beautiful feeling to be so very relaxed,
To just completely give up any stress,
Worry or tension.
Because as you take this time for yourself it's a wonderful feeling to be so calm and so at peace and allow yourself to become more and more relaxed and enjoy this wonderful state of calmness and serenity.
Drifting down even deeper and now letting go completely.
And as you are so deeply relaxed your mind is extremely sensitive and receptive to all of the suggestions I am saying to you Which are all for your benefit and will go straight to your subconscious mind and will have a positive effect on the way you think.
And you will find that the positive influence of these powerful suggestions as they are for your own benefit will continue to increase over the coming days and weeks.
Because every day your nerves are becoming stronger and steadier and you are becoming calmer,
Composed and more tranquil.
And also with every day that passes you are becoming more relaxed,
More calm and at peace with yourself and with others.
And every day you are becoming so deeply interested in whatever you are doing,
Wherever it is that you are going or what is going on around you.
That your attention is drawn away from yourself and directed out towards others in a positive,
Happy way.
And as a result you are able to think more clearly,
To concentrate more easily on whatever it is that you are doing.
And you are able to see situations in life in a much more positive light.
And every day you are becoming emotionally more calmer,
Much more settled,
Much more comfortable,
More relaxed both mentally and physically.
As you become more relaxed and calm with each passing day that goes by,
You are beginning to have much more confidence in yourself.
More confidence in your ability to do things that ought to be done.
And more confidence in your ability to trust yourself in each and every moment.
So that the goals that you have set yourself can now become a reality.
As it becomes so much easier to deal with life.
As you become calmer,
More relaxed,
You are able to cope and deal with change.
More positively and easily with each and every part of your very being.
As you take pride in dealing positively with life.
And you realise now that the things that used to upset you will now simply relax you.
And the more they used to upset you,
The more they will relax you and calm you completely.
So that you are able to deal with life in a more calm and confident way.
As the more you relax,
The more you are allowing your subconscious mind to open the door to calm and peaceful sleep.
As the more you relax now,
The more you are allowing yourself to reach deep sleep.
And as you know,
Sleep is a subconscious process.
And the more you relax,
The more you sleep.
The more that you sleep,
The more you continue to sleep and sleep.
