I'd like to welcome you to this sleep session.

Please do not listen whilst driving or operating machinery.

Only listen where you can safely relax and let go.

So take a few moments to find that comfortable position.

Just a few moments to allow yourself to be comfortable in this time which is yours.

And I want you to do nothing more than listen to the sound of my voice.

As nothing more is needed,

Nothing more is expected from you.

And as you follow the sound of my voice,

You will continue to find your own way of relaxing a little more.

Although I will encourage you and help you to become more relaxed and more rested during this time which is yours.

So for now,

Just be comfortable.

Adjust your body position when and if you need to.

And then relax more as you follow the sound of my voice and become aware of the noises around you.

And decide almost in the same moment that for now,

These noises will help you to relax deeper.

And any noises that you may hear during your time with me will be acknowledged and almost in the same moment allowed to just drift away.

For your attention is not needed on them but on yourself.

And in your growing calmness and comfort,

Your relaxation developing,

Your body relaxing.

And in time too,

Your mind quietening down as all around you,

As this time is your time.

For you to enjoy and become familiar with the comfort,

Familiar with the calmness and the inner relaxation which you can allow yourself to slowly drift into.

There is quiet and comfort.

There is safety and stillness.

A time for you to enjoy and be at ease.

Letting go of all concern.

As this is your time.

And anything you were worrying about before you began listening to the sound of my voice can simply wait as you are more important just than whatever it was you were worrying about.

And you are beginning to realize this.

You are beginning to realize this.

You drift down deeper and deeper.

You realize just how special you are as an individual.

How special you are with your own unique talent,

Your own abilities and the many aspects of your life which make you the very individual person you are.

You can recognize your successes,

Your ability and your ever-present ability to learn and relearn whatever it is that's needed to help you on life's journey.

And as you continue to listen to the sound of my voice,

Take two deep breaths.

Breathing in calmness and bringing your attention once again to the sound of my voice and the comfort of your body.

And take a few moments to scan your body for any areas of tightness,

Tension or discomfort and release them,

Simply allowing them to just fade away.

Imagine the sensations just fading away.

Leaving behind comfort.

Comfort for you at this special time as you continue listening to the sound of my voice.

And then scan your body again from the top of your head to the soles of your feet.

Any tension,

Tightness or discomfort,

However small,

Allow it to fade away.

To slowly fade away to a nothingness.

A gradual,

Steady process,

Slowly vanishing.

Fading away like a wisp of smoke in a very gentle breeze.

Fading away like a snowflake melting in the palm of your hand.

Fading away like the mist over a lake as the sun rises.

And once again,

Allow your mind to scan your body.

And this time,

For the most rested,

Most comfortable,

Quiet and still part of you.

And let this feeling of comfort and quiet spread to the rest of your body like a gentle ripple in a quiet pool.

Let it move gently out from that area of most comfort and touch every part of you.

Easily and gently without any demand.

Without having to try too hard.

And then,

Once again,

Bring your attention back as you notice the comfort.

Notice the gentle breathing.

Your body has developed.

And in its own time.

As you didn't tell your breathing how to be so calming and comfortable.

It did it just by itself.

And the rest of your body can feel the soothing pattern of letting go.

And as your body calms,

You will notice too that your thoughts slow down.

Can continue to slow down.

As you become this steady welcome release.

And as your body relaxes,

It encourages your mind to relax too.

Let the relaxation of mind and body continue.

Releasing and relaxing.

The easier it will become.

Your body and mind recognising that this calmness and comfort has a positive effect on your body,

Your mind,

And your emotions.

As you are learning not only to relax mind and body,

But also emotions.

As there is no need to allow negative emotions to build or develop.

And restrict your ability for positive thought,

Feelings,

And general well-being.

And for this short time,

If there is anything that would deny or delay the continuance of relaxing mind,

Allow them to be released.

For this is your time,

A quiet time,

For you to bring balance and your thoughts.

And as just as your body relaxes,

So too can your negative feelings.

And the wonderful thing about doing this is that it doesn't have to be difficult.

As just as we relax our body and fall into sleep at night,

Our mind and emotions find their own way to relax and switch off.

And to put things in perspective.

And to bring the resources of mind and body together.

To help resolve and solve issues,

Worries,

Or concerns.

And in this relaxed day,

Be aware that a thought is a tiny fraction of what is going on in your mind.

And in your life at any given time.

An idea has to share mental time and space with many other ideas and concepts.

And a thought is only as big as the energy we put into developing it.

And you decide how big the thought to become.

You decide how much emotional energy you put into it.

And you can decide how to limit the energy it consumes from you.

As you are the master of your own thought processes.

And I'd like you to imagine that your negative thoughts are just like hot air balloons.

As the more energy we put into them,

The more room they take and the larger they become.

And by listening to me,

You are allowing yourself to do something different.

In the quietness of your mind,

Let some of these negative balloons deflate slowly.

Nothing rushed.

There is no need to rush.

And just allow each breath you breathe out to release some of the negative issues you are carrying.

Each breath you breathe in and to your body.

And adding comfort to your thoughts as you allow the balloons of negativity to deflate.

And as you allow more room within your thoughts for positive thought patterns to be developed,

Creating an inner calmness,

A return to balance,

Feeling refreshed,

A welcome return to positive thoughts,

Feeling.

And whilst this may take a little while to feel familiar to you,

It will bring with it positive thoughts and feelings and a growing realization that you are in control of your thoughts,

Are in control over mind,

Body,

And emotion.

And it feels right and it feels good as you let go of those negative emotions and sink further,

Further down into that perfect rest and slumber.

And each and every time you listen to me,

You bring not only more calmness and comfort to your mind,

Body,

And emotions,

But also more control,

The greater familiarity of the new positive thought patterns.

And you may notice too that your confidence and comfort develops in many areas of your life.

As you are on a calming,

Gentle journey,

A calming,

Gentle journey,

As you sink down into deep sleep.

And as you relax on this way,

Not only are you bringing calm and control,

Harmony to your thoughts,

Full relaxation to your body,

As you sink down and burden again into deep,

Relaxing,

Refreshing sleep.

Resting into your most restoring,

Replenishing,

Rejuvenating sleep.
