Join me for this gentle, neuro-affirming mindfulness practice designed to help you settle and regulate your nervous system. What to Expect: • Poetic Grounding: We begin with a reading of Wendell Berry’s "The Peace of Wild Things," setting a tone of quiet observation and "finding your song". • Flexible Breathwork: You are invited to use whatever form of breath awareness serves you—whether that is box breathing, petal breathing, or simply noticing the unique movement of this specific breath. • Expansive Body Scan: We move a "spotlight of awareness" from the toes to the crown. • Observing the Wandering Mind: Rather than trying to "clear" the mind, we practice celebrating the moment we notice it has wandered. We bring curiosity to where the mind goes before gently guiding it back to our chosen anchor. Recorded live in week 4 on an MBCT class adapted for neurodivergent people.
