Hello,
Dear soul.
Let's begin this meditation by bringing our awareness to our breath.
Begin to draw the breath in deep,
Allowing it to settle all the way down into the belly.
And when you are ready,
Release it back out into the world.
We draw the breath in with intention,
And we release with intention.
And when we bring our awareness fully to our breath,
The body begins to respond.
It recognizes this as a sign that it is time to relax.
And so we allow the body to soften,
To relax.
We invite in a feeling of peace,
A feeling of calm.
Allow the eyes to close down.
Allow them to soften also.
And as you do,
You bring your awareness inwards.
And I want you to imagine you are standing on the edge of the earth,
Looking over into the darkness of space.
Here,
As you gaze into the vastness,
The vastness of the cosmos,
There is a sense of calm.
It feels as if the heaviness of life doesn't matter here.
It feels as if everything else is small.
And inconsequential.
You step off.
Without a second thought,
You step off,
Leaving it all behind.
You leave behind the heaviness.
You leave behind your ego.
You leave behind the worries.
You step into the vastness of space and leave everything else behind.
Here,
You feel weightless.
Here,
There are no thoughts or responsibilities to weigh you down.
Rest here.
Allow yourself to float free.
Free of the tethers of the world.
Imagine that as you stepped off into that vastness,
It was as if you were stepping into a greater version of yourself.
A you where fear has no control.
You at your truest self.
Pure light.
Allow yourself to float here amongst the stars.
Light and free.
You too are shining brightly.
Imagine in this moment there is no pain.
There is no heaviness.
Only peace.
Only the feeling of pure love.
In this moment,
You are at peace.
You are pure love.
Allow yourself to float here.
Free.
Give yourself permission to let go of the heaviness.
And now it is time to come back.
Begin to bring your awareness back into your body.
But as you do,
You can in this moment decide what do you want to carry with you?
What are you willing to leave behind?
After being in space,
Floating free,
Recognizing how wonderful it felt to let go of the heaviness,
What are you now willing to let go of in order to feel this freedom in real life?
