Inner Child Healing - Safety Within meditation has been designed to help us cultivate a safe space within in which our inner child can surrender and relax. This is so crucial during inner child healing. Often, as young kids many felt unsafe. This unsafety has created a nervous system that's on a constant look out for danger. Welcome to Inner Child Healing Series Safety Within.

If you feel safe to do so,

Please close your eyes gently and allow your body to length as it is,

Softly,

Slowly,

With kindness.

Take a long breath in through your nose,

Exhale softly out of your mouth.

Let the nervous system unwind and settles.

Press your hand on your heart and feel the warmth under your palm.

This is your home,

Your safe space.

This is your sanctuary.

Imagine a soft golden light growing in your chest.

Gentle,

Warm and protective.

This light is yourself,

Your inner safety.

Invite your inner child to join you and to step forward.

And just notice with compassion how they look,

How they hold themselves,

How much they want to feel safe with you.

You can kneel down to their level and say softly,

With kindness,

You are safe with me.

I am your protector now and I love all of you.

All of you is welcome in this space.

Let the golden light expound outward until it surrounds both of you,

As in a warm cocoon,

A sacred shield,

A home for your healing.

And tell them you don't have to scan for danger anymore.

You don't have to hide.

You don't have to be strong alone.

Offer them your hand.

Let them feel the steadiness in your touch.

Feel their tiny body soften as they recognize safety for the first time in a long time.

Breathe with them in unison,

Slowly,

Gently.

And tell them you are held,

You are protected,

You are safe now.

And as you breathe in deeply,

While holding,

Hugging your inner child,

Let this healing golden light fill both of you,

Your heart,

Your mind,

Your belly,

Your energetic field.

And before we end the meditation,

You can tell them softly,

This safety is ours forever.

Stay there as long as you need.
