Welcome,
Beautiful souls.
This is your guided meditation for relaxed,
Deep and peaceful sleep.
Please lay down comfortably wherever you are.
Make yourself cozy,
Warm and know that in this moment you are safe.
You are safe.
Sleep is a sacred space for us to connect with our inner galaxy and our spiritual guides.
I would ask you now,
If you haven't already,
To gently close your eyes and breathe.
Make sure your exhale is longer than your inhale.
So,
For example,
If your inhale is 5 seconds,
Make sure your exhale is 8.
It's okay to count to start with,
And if you're too tired to count,
Just notice your exhale.
Let it flow.
Let it go.
Let it take you deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep,
Deep down.
And notice your breath entering your nostrils and traveling down your neck,
Filling your tummy and your lungs.
And then gently,
Without any judgment,
Notice your breath exhaling from your body.
How does it feel?
How does it feel to have air?
Air that you don't even think about during a working day,
But air that's so essential to our existence.
Notice that air with gratitude.
Observe it mindfully,
Knowing that it's bringing oxygen into your body and that it's taking out whatever you don't need.
The air,
The breath,
Simple,
Unassuming,
Soft breath that's keeping you alive.
How beautiful.
What a gift from universe,
From Mother Earth.
What a simple,
But so essential,
Complex breath,
Air is.
And as you are breathing in deep with appreciation,
And as you're breathing out and dropping deep into your body,
You become aware of your forehead,
Of your eyebrows.
Is your forehead tense?
Is it relaxed?
What about your eyebrows?
Can you soften them a little bit more?
And your eyes are closed.
And you notice,
As your face is softening,
You notice peace wrapping itself around your body,
Around your soul,
Around your mind.
It's descending on you like a warm,
Protective touch.
And you breathe in deeply,
And you breathe out slowly and deeply.
And you become aware of your right shoulder and your right elbow,
And the bone that's connecting your right shoulder and your right elbow.
And you notice your right wrist and your right hand,
And all the fingers,
All those beautiful fingers on your right hand.
How precious,
How precious is your body,
Your vessel,
Your church,
Your home.
And you notice your left shoulder and your left elbow,
And the bone connecting the two.
And you notice your left wrist,
Beautiful left wrist,
And your left hand,
And all the fingers on your left hand.
Your hands,
Your both hands,
How precious.
They've done so much for you today,
And it's time for them to rest.
And the air is traveling through your neck,
Your throat chakra.
It's been active all day,
Talking,
Expressing,
Loving.
And it needs to rest now.
And we are going down into your lungs.
Notice them expanding,
Contracting,
Being alive and soft,
Ready for sleep.
And your heart,
Your beautiful heart is beating,
Slow,
Safe,
In knowing it's time to rest for a bit.
And slow down,
It's safe here,
There is nothing to do,
Nothing to be,
Nothing to accomplish,
Nobody to impress,
But you.
So you rest,
In peace,
Loving yourself,
Loving every part of your body,
Every organ,
Every bone,
Every cell,
And loving your spirit,
Your soul,
And your mind,
Your beautiful mind.
And we are dropping down into your tummy area,
A second brain,
The one that's responsible for knowing,
For the deep,
Deep,
Deep inner knowing.
Knowing when to sleep,
When to do what to do,
With who to do it.
Demanding to be trusted,
Demanding to be noticed,
Because that's where your truth is.
It's telling you now,
It's time to rest,
It's time to let go and drop,
Let go into trust,
That all is well,
That this moment is perfect.
And then,
You noticed your toes,
Toes on your right leg,
Five of them,
And your right foot,
And your left foot and left toes.
We often don't think about our feet that often,
But our feet are keeping us upright,
Are taking us places,
They pedal a bicycle and drive a car.
How grateful it is,
How precious it is,
To have such a companion with us all of the time,
A companion that needs rest now.
And your calves,
And your knees,
Pay attention to your quads and your hamstrings,
Your legs,
Both of them,
Beautiful,
Beautiful legs,
Safe body.
How lucky it is for us to have such a beautiful body,
That's working so hard for us,
So we can experience this beautiful life that was gifted to us.
This human experience,
With all that it brings,
So precious,
Is this moment,
Safe moment,
Where you can rest,
Where you can be who you are.
Where you can accept yourself in all your vulnerability,
Pride,
Joy,
However you are feeling,
It's all accepted here,
There is no judgement,
There is no judgement.
Only peace that comes with trust that all is well,
That you are okay,
That you are on the right path.
It's good to breathe,
And drop,
Drop,
Drop down,
Drop deep,
Deep,
Deep into your own,
Where all is warm,
All is good,
Where you are loved and supported.
And drop,
Drop,
Drop deep,
Deep,
Deep down,
And stay there for as long as you need.
