A Wintering Blessing For The Tired Caregiver
by Dee Hennessy
This is a short spoken blessing for tired caregivers, stretched, or quietly carrying more than most people see. Rooted in Celtic spirituality and informed by compassion-based practice, this blessing offers a moment of warmth and reassurance — a reminder that rest is not something you earn, and that conservation is a form of love. You can listen at the end of the day, between tasks, or whenever you need to feel gently held. There is nothing to do, fix, or change. Simply receive. The sacred Gaelic chant used in this recording is with the permission of Céile Dé, an esoteric Celtic path of spiritual awakening. Called Eist Le Mo Chroi/ Eist Le Do Chroi, it translates as 'Listen to my heart, listen to your heart. This blessing is especially for those who continue to care, even when they are weary — and who need tenderness, too.
