Hello dear friend,
My name is Debbie and I want to thank you for trusting me to
guide you through this full moon release meditation,
Allowing you to let go of
what no longer serves you,
So that you may continue to grow and live the life
that you desire.
This meditation is best done at every full moon and remember you
can harness the energy of the moon three days before and three days after every
event.
Releasing and letting go at the full moon is a transformative ritual
that allows you to harness mother moon's powerful energy to release negative
emotions,
Old habits and anything that no longer serves your highest good.
This
ancient practice allows you to cleanse your mind and your heart,
Making space
for new intentions and positive changes in your life.
So let's begin by finding a
comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down and when you are ready gently
close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly
through your mouth and as you inhale imagine a wave of relaxation gently
flowing from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
This wave of
relaxation carries with it a sense of calm and tranquility and with each breath
out you're releasing any residual tension from your body.
Allow your
awareness to drift the sensation of your breath and notice how each inhalation
brings in a feeling of peaceful energy and each exhalation carries away any
stress or worries.
Inhale,
Exhale letting go with each breath.
Now I invite you to
imagine a staircase in front of you.
The staircase has ten steps and you are
about to descend it into a deeper state of relaxation.
With each step you take
you move closer to a profound state of inner calm and receptivity.
And as I count you down from ten to one you'll take a step down with each number
moving deeper into a state of relaxation with each step.
Imagine yourself
standing at the top of the staircase now.
Take the first step down ten and with it feel a wave of relaxation wash over you.
Your body is becoming more and more at ease.
Nine,
Another step down and you can sense the gentle rhythm of your own breath
guiding you into a deeper relaxation.
Eight,
Notice how the soothing background music seems to become more harmonious
and calming with each step.
Seven,
Going down now and feeling lighter and more
peaceful with every step you take.
Six,
Your body and mind are in perfect harmony
completely relaxed and open to positive change.
Five,
Going deeper and deeper as
if you're moving towards the center of your inner world,
A place of profound
tranquility.
Four,
Almost there and you can feel the warmth of the moon's energy
calling to you,
Ready to guide you in releasing what no longer serves.
Three,
Taking another step down and your body feels light as a feather and your
mind is clear and focused.
And two,
So close now where your connection to
Mother Moon and your intentions is strong and vibrant.
And one,
You're at the bottom of the staircase in a deep and profound state
of relaxation and you are ready to release and renew.
And as you put both feet down at the bottom of the staircase,
Visualize roots
extending from the soles of your feet,
Reaching deep into Mother Earth.
Feel her
energy wrapping around these roots and anchoring you securely in the ground.
And
now I invite you to imagine the bright full moon above you,
Casting her gentle
light upon you.
Feel her energy pouring down,
Enveloping you in a calming and
nurturing glow.
Now shift your focus to your heart,
Visualize a warm and radiant
light within your chest.
This light represents your deepest desires,
Your
intentions and everything you want to release.
And as you continue to breathe
deeply,
Imagine a silver thread connecting your heart to the heart of
Mother Moon.
Sense the powerful connection between you and her lunar
energy,
A bond that transcends space and time.
With each breath,
Feel this
connection growing stronger.
As you inhale,
Draw in her energy.
And as you
exhale,
Begin to send everything you wish to release up through the silver
thread to her.
Feel a sense of release and lightness.
Visualize them leaving
your body and merging with the energy of Mother Moon.
Notice how the silver
thread between your heart and Mother Moon becomes brighter and stronger,
Reinforcing your connection with her loving energy.
I'm going to leave you now
for a few moments to bask in her beautiful glow and release anything else
that you need to.
And as we come to the end of this meditation,
I invite you to
take a deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Thank Mother Moon for her guidance and
assistance in releasing what no longer serves you.
On your next breath in,
Bring
your awareness back to your physical body and become aware of the surface
beneath you.
Become aware of your surroundings and the sensation of your
breath.
Begin to wiggle your fingers and your toes.
And when you are ready,
Gently
open your eyes.
Remember that you can return to this meditation whenever you
feel the need to release and renew.
