Welcome to this guided meditation for the heart chakra.
Take a moment to get comfortable either sitting or lying down and when you are ready place your hands on your chest near your heart,
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in feeling your chest expand as you inhale and gently contract as you exhale.
Continue to take a few deep breaths in right into your heart space and gently exhale.
And I invite you now to visualize a vibrant green light glowing in the center of your chest.
This is your heart chakra.
See it radiating warmth and love throughout your body.
And as you continue to breathe normally imagine this green light growing brighter and more expansive,
Filling you with unconditional love and compassion and kindness.
Silently or aloud if you're comfortable to do so,
Repeat the mantra YAM allowing the sound to resonate within your body.
And as you continue to repeat the mantra YAM,
Feel that green light expanding and dissolving any blocks or tension in your heart.
Let it soften and open your heart allowing you to give and receive love freely and without fear.
And if any feelings of hurt or resentment arise,
Acknowledge them and then release them into the green light,
Watching them dissolve and disappear.
Trust in the power of love to heal and transform you.
And when you are ready,
Gently become aware of your breath again.
Bring your awareness back into the room.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes and slowly open your eyes.
