Welcome back to day 7 on your 30 day journey,
Taking this time to return to yourself.
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow yourself to settle,
Just as you are,
And gently begin by noticing the breath,
The steady rhythm already here,
Breathing in and breathing out.
And,
As you stay with this,
You may begin to notice how often attention moves outward towards things to do,
Things to think about,
And right now,
You're simply allowing that movement to come back inward.
And if it feels right,
Let the exhale lengthen slightly,
Letting the body soften,
Letting attention settle,
And then gently returning again to the breath.
And now,
Begin to notice the simple sense of being present,
Not as a thought,
But as a feeling.
And if it feels comfortable,
Rest your attention there,
Even briefly,
And then again,
Returning to the breath,
Letting it guide you back,
And for the next few moments,
Just remain here,
Breathing,
Resting,
Returning.
Take a moment to notice how you feel,
Not needing it to be different,
Just acknowledging what's here.
And as you move into the rest of your day,
See if you can carry even a small part of this,
This connection,
This presence,
This awareness,
With you.
And remember,
You can return to this at any time,
With a single breath,
