Welcome back to day 8 of your 30-day journey,
Taking this time once again to step out of the movement of your day and into a deeper awareness of the body,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow yourself to settle,
Just as you are,
No need to adjust anything right away,
Just arriving,
And gently begin by noticing the breath,
The steady rhythm already here,
Breathing in and breathing out,
And if it feels supportive,
Allow the exhale to lengthen slightly,
Letting the body begin to soften,
Not forcing,
Just allowing,
And then gently returning again to simply noticing,
Begin to bring your awareness to the top of the head,
Just noticing any sensation,
Or perhaps very little at all,
And if it feels comfortable,
Invite a gentle softening here,
Not forcing,
But allowing space,
And then gently returning again to the breath,
Letting the inhale arrive,
And the exhale soften,
And now slowly moving your awareness down into the forehead,
Noticing any holding,
Any tightness,
And if it feels right,
Allow the forehead to smooth,
And the space between the eyes to soften,
And once more,
Returning to the breath,
Inhaling and exhaling,
And now into the eyes,
Allowing them to rest back,
No effort to focus,
Just resting,
And again returning to the breath,
Letting it guide the pace,
And now into the jaw,
Noticing if there is any tension,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow the jaw to unclench,
The tongue to soften,
Resting naturally,
And again,
Returning to the breath,
Letting each exhale carry a sense of release,
And now moving down into the neck and shoulders,
Noticing the weight,
Any areas of holding,
And if it feels right,
Allow the shoulders to drop,
Even just slightly,
As if setting something down,
And then returning again to the breath,
Steady,
Grounding,
And now into the arms,
The elbows,
The hands,
Noticing the contact,
The weight,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow the hands to become heavier,
More supported,
And again,
Returning to the breath,
And now into the chest,
Feeling the rise and fall,
Allowing the breath to move freely,
No restriction,
No holding,
And into the belly,
Letting it soften completely,
No need to hold it in,
Just relax,
And once more,
Returning to the breath,
Letting each exhale invite deeper ease,
And now into the hips,
The legs,
All the way down to the feet,
Noticing the support beneath you,
The feeling of contact,
And if it feels right,
Allow the legs to be heavy,
The feet grounded,
And now,
Begin to sense the whole body,
Together,
As one connected field,
Softening,
Breathing,
Supported,
And if the mind drifts,
Just gently bring it back,
To the body,
To the breath,
Again,
And again,
And for the next few moments,
Just remain here,
Breathing,
Noticing,
Allowing,
And again,
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to change,
Just this body,
At rest,
Take a moment to notice how you feel,
Not needing it to be different,
Just acknowledging what's here,
And as you move into the rest of your day,
See if you can carry even a small part of this,
This awareness,
This softness,
This presence,
With you,
And remember,
You can return to this at any time,
With a single breath,
I'll be here with you,
For the next step,
Whenever you're ready,
Until then,
Take care,
And be gentle with yourself,
And remember,
Slow down,
Soften,
And return.
