Welcome back to day 5 of your 30 day journey,
Taking this time again to step into a space of stillness,
A space where nothing is required of you,
Nothing you need to perform,
Nothing you need to manage,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow yourself to settle,
Just as you are,
And gently begin by noticing the breath,
The steady rhythm already here,
Breathing in and breathing out,
And if it feels supportive,
Allow the exhale to lengthen slightly,
Letting the body receive a signal that it can begin to slow down,
And then gently returning again to simply noticing the breath.
And as you stay with this,
Begin to notice your surroundings,
The space around you,
The support beneath you,
The feeling of being here,
And if it feels comfortable,
You might gently remind yourself that right now,
In this moment,
You are safe,
Nothing you need to defend against,
Nothing you need to prepare for,
Just this space,
Just this breath,
And then again,
Returning to the breath.
Letting the inhale arrive,
And the exhale soften the body,
And as this sense of safety begins to settle,
You may notice areas of tension,
Places where the body has been holding,
And if it feels right,
Bringing gentle awareness there,
Inviting a softening,
Not forcing,
Just allowing.
And once more,
Returning to the breath,
Steady,
Calm,
Grounding,
And for the next few moments,
Just remain here,
Breathing,
Supported,
At ease.
Take a moment to notice how you feel,
And not needing it to be different,
Just acknowledging what's here.
And as you move into the rest of your day,
See if you can carry even a small part of this,
This sense of safety,
This grounding,
This steadiness,
With you.
And remember,
You can return to this at any time,
With a single breath.
