Welcome back to day 2 of your 30 day journey,
Taking this time again to step out of the movement of your day and into a space of awareness,
A space where nothing is required of you,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow yourself to settle in just as you are,
No need to adjust anything right away.
Just arriving and gently begin by noticing the breath,
Exactly as it is,
The natural rhythm already moving through you,
Breathing in and breathing out,
And if it feels supportive,
You might begin to deepen the breath just slightly,
Allowing the inhale to become a little slower,
Not forcing,
Just guiding,
And then gently returning again to simply noticing the inhale and the exhale.
And as you stay with this,
You may begin to feel that the breath is something you can And if the mind begins to wander,
Pulling you into thoughts,
Distractions,
That's completely natural,
Just noticing where the attention has gone and softly bringing it back to the exhale,
Again and again,
At your own pace,
And if it feels right,
Allow the exhale to a little more,
Letting each breath out,
Signal to the body that it can begin to settle,
That it can begin to slow down,
And then gently noticing again,
The next inhale,
The next exhale,
Stay connected,
Not tightly focused,
But softly aware,
And as this continues,
You may begin to notice subtle shifts,
Perhaps a quieting in the mind,
Or softening in the body,
Or simply a clearer awareness of the breath itself.
Whatever you notice is perfectly okay,
There's nothing you need to create,
Nothing you need to chase,
Just staying with what is already here,
And if at any point the mind feels busy,
Or restless,
Or distracted,
Just return again,
To the breath,
To the steady rhythm of inhaling and exhaling,
Letting it anchor you,
In this moment,
And as you continue,
You may begin to sense that the breath is not only something you observe,
But something that supports you,
Something that steadies you,
Something that gently brings you back,
To yourself,
And if it feels comfortable,
Allow yourself to trust that,
Even just a little,
Letting the breath guide you,
Not controlling,
Not forcing,
Just following,
And returning,
Again and again,
And for the next few moments,
Just remain here,
Breathing,
Noticing,
Returning,
Nothing extra,
Nothing missing,
Just this steady anchor,
Always here,
Whenever you need it,
With a single breath,
I'll be here with you,
For the next step,
Whenever you're ready,
Until then,
Take care and be gentle with yourself,
And remember,
Slow down,
Soften,
And return.
