Welcome to this quick de-stress protocol,

Perfect if you're feeling overwhelmed,

Anxious,

Or in need of a fast reset.

So grab a seat or lie down,

Get comfy,

And let's go.

We'll begin with a powerful breathing technique called the physiological sigh.

Take a full deep inhale through your nose,

Then another short inhale right after,

And then a long exhale through thinly pursed lips.

It goes something like this.

Going for one minute,

Starting now.

We'll move on to horizon gazing.

This technique requires you to broaden your visual field,

Typically looking at some sort of horizon,

But you can apply this anywhere.

You'll place your attention on your peripherals and the entire visual field,

Rather than focus on an individual spot.

Let's go for one minute.

Relax your eyes,

Take everything in,

And begin.

Let's end with 30 seconds of the physiological sigh,

But this time,

On every exhale,

You'll send a wave of relaxation from your head down to your toes.

Feel free to continue horizon gazing,

Or close your eyes.

30 seconds,

Starting now.

Now go enjoy the rest of your day with this newfound calm.
