Welcome to this meditation brought to you by Create the Calm.
Find a comfortable seat,
Or if you prefer,
Lie down.
Allow your body to rest fully into the support beneath you.
Notice how the earth holds you without condition.
You don't need to do anything to earn this support.
It is simply here.
If it feels safe,
Close your eyes.
If not,
Soften your gaze toward the floor.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in and gently exhale.
Notice the weight of your body.
Notice the points of contact,
The seat beneath you,
The floor beneath your feet,
The softness or firmness at your back.
Now let your awareness drift outward.
Acknowledge the hum of life outside of you,
The noise,
The pressure,
Perhaps even the collective tension of the world around you.
Recognize it,
Feel it,
And then without resistance,
Let it move to the edges of your awareness.
You are here in this moment.
Take another deep breath in and as you exhale,
Allow yourself to arrive more fully.
Bring your attention to your breath.
Let it be slow,
Even,
And unforced.
Inhale gently,
Feeling your lungs expand.
Hold for a brief moment and exhale with ease.
With every inhale,
Imagine drawing in clarity,
Calm,
And stability.
With every exhale,
Release something you no longer need,
The weight of expectation,
The need to prove yourself,
The grasping for control.
Now bring your attention to your heart center.
Imagine a soft glowing light there.
It begins as a steady ember,
Warm,
Consistent,
And alive.
With each inhale,
This light brightens.
With each exhale,
It radiates outward,
Filling your chest,
Your arms,
Your belly,
Your legs.
With every breath,
It expands until it surrounds your whole body,
A sphere of calm,
Steady presence.
Sit with this light for a few breaths,
Noticing how it feels to be gently illuminated from within.
Now in your mind's eye,
Imagine a throne before you.
It's not a throne of stone or gold or jewels.
Instead,
It is woven from your essence,
From your energy,
Your wisdom,
Your quiet strength.
This throne is perfectly formed for you.
No one else could sit in it as you do.
See yourself approaching and taking your seat.
Feel the way your body aligns as you settle into it.
Notice the length of your spine,
The openness of your chest,
The radiance of the heartlight you've been building.
Here you are steady,
You are sovereign.
Take a moment to notice how it feels to inhabit this throne.
This place where no one can diminish your presence.
Here you do not chase,
You do not beg.
You do not shrink.
You simply are.
Let the noise of the world,
The demands,
The opinions and the pressures wash past you like waves rolling onto the shore.
You can hear them,
But they can't touch the stillness at your center.
Here you remain steady.
Sit with this image.
Allow yourself to linger.
Feel the texture of sovereignty in your body.
Now silently or aloud,
Repeat these affirmations with me.
Take your time.
Let each one sink in.
I sit on the throne of my being.
I allow,
I invite,
I release.
I am enough and I am whole.
I hold the line for myself and for others without collapse or compromise.
The world does not define my worth,
I do.
Feel each phrase ripple through you.
Imagine the words traveling down your spine,
Radiating through your chest,
Moving into your hands,
Your feet and your entire body.
Stay here,
Breathing with the affirmations,
Until they no longer feel like words you're repeating,
But truth you are embodying.
Now begin to deepen your breath.
Feel the steadiness of your throne within you.
Know that even as you return to the world,
This energy is not lost.
It lives within you.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing awareness back to the physical space you're in.
When you're ready,
Softly open your eyes.
Carry with you this knowing.
You are sovereign.
You are aligned.
You are supported.
No circumstance,
No scarcity,
No system can diminish the authority of your own being.
Take one final grounding breath.
Inhale strength and clarity.
And exhale doubt and fear.
And remember,
You are seated.
You are steady.
You are enough.
