Well,
Hello there,
Welcome to Celestial Gems.
I'm Gem and I'll be your guide for today.
This is a safe space that I have created and will share with you now.
If able,
Please ensure you are also in a physical space that feels safe to you,
Or at the very least,
Safe enough for you to close your eyes for a few minutes.
You can do this practice sitting on the floor or a chair,
Or lying down.
Just be sure that you are comfortable with your back straight.
This is a short meditation designed to help you pause,
Reconnect,
And realign yourself to the turning of the seasons.
Outside,
The Earth is shifting,
Where the light and darkness meet in balance.
For one hemisphere will go inwards as the darkness begins to creep in.
For another,
It is an invitation to step outwards and prepare for the light.
As we breathe together now,
Imagine the soft return of warmth,
The first sprouts of green shoots,
Soil loosening,
Life softly beginning to return.
Let nature's rhythm steady your own.
Today you'll be invited to gently reflect on what you wish to grow in the months ahead,
Planting a single seed of intention.
Let us begin.
When you feel ready,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in through the nose,
Strong and intentional.
Hold.
When you are ready,
Exhale through your mouth,
Clearing the space within you.
Again,
In through the nose,
Feeling the cool air pass your nostrils.
At the top of your breath,
Hold.
This time,
See if you can hold it just a little longer,
A second or so.
Don't push yourself.
Simply explore the bounds of your own comfort.
When you're ready,
Exhale from the bottom of your belly,
Allowing the air to escape through your mouth.
Last deep breath in through the nose.
Imagine your belly as a balloon,
Feeling it expand.
And then at the top,
Hold,
Exploring the bounds of comfort.
And then let your breath out,
Dropping your belly as you do,
And allowing the breath to cleanse,
Grounding you in this space and time.
For this moment,
It's just us.
Thoughts are a part of you,
And they are a part of meditation.
If thoughts pop up,
That's okay.
Let them.
We are not here to judge,
And there is no right or wrong.
Perhaps maybe it might be nice just for now to let those thoughts go,
And you can come back to them when we're done.
Right now,
Consider giving yourself permission to be just a little bit selfish,
Just for the next couple of minutes.
Think about you,
Yourself,
Your life,
Your wants,
Your needs,
Your desires,
Your truths.
Spring is upon us,
And in this delicate balance of light and darkness,
It can be a lovely moment to pause,
To gently awaken yourself from the inside out,
As though you've been hibernating these past few months.
The air feels warmer on your skin.
Sunlight flickers on your closed eyelids,
And you feel something now beginning to stir within you,
Like butterflies dancing in the air.
The excitement within you begins to swirl.
Spring can be a wonderful time to remind us of rebirth.
When the grief of endings can subside,
This can be an invitation of excitement for a new beginning.
When you think of yourself and your desires for the coming season,
What comes to mind?
I invite you to take a moment now to reflect on what you wish to call in.
Perhaps many ideas come to mind,
But I encourage you to focus just on one thing,
One seed of possibility,
To plant in the fertile soil of your life.
Be as wild or as gentle as you wish.
This seed can be something quietly brave or something joyously impossible.
Spring is the season of audacity,
Of tiny things becoming wondrous.
We have reached quite an absurd time in the world.
Why should your dreams play small?
Allow this seed to represent a promise to yourself.
If anything,
It can be a promise to give yourself permission to dream,
To use your inspiration and think of the impossible.
So many of our everyday creations were once deemed impossible.
We once existed without the internet and not that long ago,
We didn't think planes could fly.
Perhaps your intention is something small yet nourishing.
Something quietly brave or something that feels wildly out of reach.
Whatever it is,
Hold that vision in your mind's eye.
Something that brings you joy,
That makes your soul spark and your heart lift when you imagine it coming to life.
Picture a tiny seed cradled in your palm.
A connection between you and your dreams.
You kneel on the soft earth,
The scent of rain and moss rising.
The soils cool and damp under your fingertips.
Feeling mother earth in your hands,
She radiates love and joy into you.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling her love fill you up from the inside.
Gently exhale,
Pausing for a moment to feel your body.
Now take your seed and gently place it into the earth,
Covering it back up with love and care.
Take another deep connecting breath in as though you were breathing in light from the earth.
When you are ready,
Exhale through your mouth.
As you do,
Imagine the seed glowing faintly under the soil.
Pulsing with your hopes,
Your love,
Your belief.
This is how new life begins.
Today is yours to own and to grow.
To tend,
Nurture and prepare for the light and growth ahead.
If you like,
Repeat after me in a gentle whisper.
I plant this seed with love and intention.
I plant this seed with hope and imagination.
I plant this seed with care and inspiration.
Let these words echo through you.
Feel them flow throughout your body.
Take a deep breath in,
Feeling your seed within the ground germinating by source.
Close and exhale,
Knowing you can return to this space anytime.
The seed rests now beneath the soil,
Quietly beginning to awaken.
Just as you.
You needn't watch.
It will grow.
Trust that.
Just as nature blooms in her time,
So will you.
Slowly now,
Become aware of the room you are in.
Listening to the distant sounds that surround you.
Begin to awaken your body by wiggling your fingers and your toes.
When you're ready,
Rub your hands together to create warmth.
Place your palms over your eyes,
Letting the warmth seep onto your skin.
When you're ready,
Gently flutter your eyes open.
Then remove your hands.
Thank you so much for joining me today and taking the time to reconnect with yourself.
I am so grateful you were able to stop by.
Until we meet again.
Goodbye,
My kindred friend.
