Well,
Hello there.
Welcome to Celestial Gems.
My name is Gem,
And I'll be your guide for today.
Before we get started,
I'd like to acknowledge the ancestors of the land in which we create and rest on.
The land of the agarra and turrbal peoples,
Past,
Present,
And emerging.
Always was,
Always will be First Nations land.
Today,
I'd like to welcome you,
Weary listener,
To this corner of the universe.
This space that I have created and will share with you now.
This is a safe space.
Please ensure you are also in a physical space that feels safe to you.
Or,
At the very least,
Safe enough for you to close your eyes and get comfy.
Lay back,
Placing a pillow under your knees or head if you need,
Or sit up with your back straight on the floor or on a chair.
This is your moment now to get comfortable.
Find that soft blanket to lay on top of or under and move about until you hit the comfiest you can be.
Settle in and close your eyes.
Let's begin with three deep breaths.
We'll take a deep breath in through the nose for four counts,
Hold for seven,
And release for seven.
Ready?
Deep breath in through the nose for four.
And hold for seven.
Exhale through the mouth for seven.
Let's do that twice more.
Deep breath in through the nose for four.
Hold for seven.
Exhale through the mouth for seven.
For this moment,
We'll think of Celestial Gems as a wooden cottage in the depths of a forest,
Surrounded by stones covered in fluffy green moss.
And low hanging trees of emerald green vines and leaves intertwining through.
You came here after a long day of existing and you're looking to share some tea with a friend.
You approach the door and knock three times.
Hello,
New friend,
I say,
Answering the door.
I come towards you with a large yellow mug.
It's not perfectly shaped,
But the colour is so bright like sunflowers after the rain.
You watch as the steam from the hot water flies up into the air and your hands are warmed as you hold the mug.
As you wait for your tea to cool,
You breathe it in,
Smelling all your favourite smells.
Maybe you smell cinnamon and honey with a punch of nutmeg or swirls of vanilla and mint or strong earl grey with its lavender and bergamot.
Take a deep breath in for four.
Hold for seven.
And this time,
As you exhale,
Let out a gentle sigh.
Ready?
In through the nose for four.
Hold for seven.
And let's exhale with a gentle sigh for eight.
Let's do that one more time.
And as we do,
Let's let go of any nasty feelings that have held you back throughout the day.
Ready?
In through the nose for four.
Hold for seven.
And sigh gently for eight.
You release yourself from any negative energy,
Holding you back from your highest self,
From your highest good.
Let's do this three more times.
But as you sigh,
Make it deeper.
Make it come from the pit of your stomach as you think of all the things that have bogged you down throughout the day and release it through this exhale.
Ready?
In through the nose for four.
Hold for seven.
And a deep guttural sigh for eight.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for seven.
And guttural sigh for eight.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for seven.
Guttural sigh for eight.
Now,
Take a sip of your tea.
It's still hot,
But cool enough that you can drink it without it burning your tongue.
You feel the warmth run down your chest,
Healing all that was released,
Feeling all the space that has now been cleared within.
You now have more space to hold the things that bring you joy and serve your higher purpose.
I ask you now,
What is bringing you joy today?
As you ponder,
You take another sip of your tea.
Images of past moments flash through your mind.
Maybe it's a friend or a stranger who helped you.
A particular color or a flower,
A butterfly,
A happy moment with a puppy.
Hold on to that feeling and image in your mind.
As you do,
You take a deep breath in through your nose,
Holding on to the images and feeling of joy throughout your body,
And lightly exhale through your mouth.
You place your empty yellow mug back on the old oak table.
And you find yourself gently smiling.
This is exactly what you needed today.
You think to yourself,
And with that,
You decide to leave.
You get up and walk to the small wooden door.
Slowly now,
Let's reconnect with the room that you're in.
You notice the sounds around you,
And you begin to feel and awaken the body you're in.
Wiggle your toes and fingers,
Taking your hands and rubbing them together for three seconds.
Now,
Take your hands and cover your eyes.
As you do,
You feel the warmth radiating onto your face.
Slowly now,
Open your eyes,
Gently removing your hands,
So you now are fully present.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
I'm Jem.
I've been your guide,
And I'm so grateful you were able to join me.
Until we meet again,
Bye now,
New friend.
