Well hello there!
Welcome to Celestial Gems.
My name is Gem and I'll be your guide for today.
I'd like to welcome you to my corner of the universe.
This space that I have created and will share with you now.
I'd like to remind you that this is a safe space so please ensure you are also in a space that feels safe to you or at the very least safe enough for you to close your eyes.
I recommend taking this practice outside under a tree or on a balcony even by a window anywhere where nature feels accessible to you.
Today's practice is an invitation to remember the quiet magic of nature and thus the magic that resides within you.
When you're ready sit up straight with your legs crossed or if on a chair with your feet on the ground.
You can also lay down placing a pillow or a folded up blanket under your knees and head if you'd like an extra bit of support.
Take a moment now to move gently.
Shake out any lingering energy as you find your comfy spot.
Let's settle in and close your eyes.
Unclench your jaw.
Lower your shoulders and open your hands.
Give each finger a little wiggle.
Let us begin with a deep and gentle grounding breath.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for four.
And gently exhale through the nose for five.
Let's do that again.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for four.
And exhale through the nose for five.
One last time now.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for four.
And gently exhale through the nose for five.
Let your breathing now return to a normal pace.
As your body begins to relax notice the darkness that surrounds you.
You are not scared by this.
It is soft and gentle and quiet.
You feel yourself slowly moving from one world into another.
You feel the air change.
Thicker.
Cooler.
You feel your body gently pulled downward.
Not into the floor but into something deeper.
A portal.
A softness.
A movement between worlds.
It's just you now.
Encapsulated by the darkness you feel the shift and find yourself standing at the edge of a forest.
Take a deep breath in and exhale.
You look over your right shoulder to see an open space.
Grass stretching out before you and you see yourself standing there waving goodbye.
You smile and wave back.
You know this moment is an anchor.
As you say goodbye to one version of yourself soon you will say hello to another.
Slowly you turn your head forward and start walking into the towering trees.
Shortly you stop to look back only to realize you're in the depths of the forest.
Each way you turn looks identical to the other.
Trees surrounding you.
You move closer to one.
Running your hands up along the rough edges of the silver bark.
Cool and textured beneath your fingertips.
A faint rustling above draws your gaze upwards.
Tilting your head you look up and see the green bushy treetops swaying gently in the breeze.
Feeling endless as though the very tips would ever so gently touch the clouds.
You hear something.
Over there.
What is that?
It's not the wind blowing amongst the leaves.
It's not the birds singing nor the little footsteps of rabbits hopping in the foliage.
It's familiar.
You're not scared.
No.
No you're curious.
Your intuition is calling.
Beckoning for you to follow.
You walk a little further and as you do you begin to see specks of yellow peering through the trunks of the trees like rays of sunshine on a cloudy day breaking through the dark gray clouds.
The air shifts and you can feel the cool breeze of the summer morning fade away as the sun's warmth kisses your skin.
The trees begin to open up and you are now in a clearing surrounded by daffodils.
The sun shines through the translucent yellows making it as though each flower is glowing.
Like sunshine at your feet the daffodils sparkle with the morning dew.
A sweet earthy scent lingers in the air as though the color itself carries perfume.
You begin to notice all the shades of yellow.
Honey,
Lemon,
Marigold.
Can you describe the yellows that you see?
Whisper them softly to yourself now.
Each color is a reflection of something sacred in you.
Wild,
Unique,
Blooming in its own way.
Oh you hear it again.
What is that sound you think to yourself?
As you see a little glitter of light bouncing around the flower tops a small winged creature appears and promptly flies up in your face.
In this moment you find yourself face to face with a fairy.
Deep emerald green eyes look into yours and you can hear the fluttering of wings as the fairy begins to fly around your head.
There is something kind in their gaze.
Playful yes but ancient too.
As if they recognize something in you.
Instinctively you hold out your palms and the ethereal creature lands in the center with a little wiggle and a shake of their tiny body.
Your hands are now seemingly filled with glitter or otherwise known in these parts as fairy dust.
This is yours they say and as they do they begin to dance picking up the dust as they dwell.
Like specks of light stars in a tiny galaxy they shimmer and sparkle in your hands.
The dust flying up and surrounding your whole body now.
In the center of your palms you begin to feel a gentle heat.
A presence of an energy.
Breathe into it now.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for four.
And exhale gently now through your nose for five.
Let's do that one more time.
In through the nose for four.
Hold for four.
And as you exhale feel the warmth flow through your entire body.
This is yours they say again.
This is your magic now.
It courses through you like excitement,
Like laughter,
Like joy.
You feel it tingle from the tips of your fingers through your hands,
Up your arms,
Down your body,
Through your legs,
All the way to the tippy tips of your toes.
You feel it like energy shooting through you.
You smile to yourself.
You know you feel it that no matter what you can always come back here to feel safe again.
To feel magic again.
To feel whole again.
To find yourself again and again.
Let this memory of golden flowers and fairy sparkles remind you your magic is always with you.
Just like the natural world that surrounds us it waits quietly to be noticed.
But for now it's time to say goodbye.
You turn around and walk away from the daffodils through the silver barks of the trees,
Back to that grass clearing where you said goodbye to yourself earlier.
It's time to awaken back into your body.
Start slowly now by wiggling your fingers and your toes.
Take your hands and rub them together.
Placing them over your eyes feeling the warmth radiate from your palms.
Gently now open your eyes and remove your hands so you are fully present.
If able,
I recommend taking a moment now to reflect on the feelings that came up.
If possible,
Jot them down on a piece of paper and then place that paper in a jar or an altar if you have one.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
I'm Gem,
I've been your guide and I'm so grateful you were able to join me.
Until we meet again,
Goodbye my magic friend.
