Welcome to this guided meditation for overthinking.
We will focus on allowing space for a sense of calm,
Presence,
And relaxation while releasing the mental and emotional burdens of overthinking.
Take a moment to find a comfortable seated position or lie down.
Close your eyes and bring your attention to the crown of your head.
Inhale deeply,
Feeling the air entering through your nose,
And exhale completely,
Letting go of any tension.
As you continue to breathe,
Shift your focus to the sensations at the crown of your head.
Imagine a gentle warmth or soft light enveloping this area.
Inhale and with each breath,
Allow this warmth to spread down through your body.
With each inhale,
Step into the present moment.
Feel the energy of the now filling you,
Grounding you into the present experience.
And as you exhale,
Release anything that is not serving you.
Let go of any thoughts that are causing stress and anxiety.
As you breathe,
Imagine roots extending from your body into the ground,
Connecting you to the earth.
With each exhale,
Feel yourself relaxing into the support of the ground beneath you.
Let go of the weight of overthinking and surrender it to the earth.
Continue this meditation,
Focusing on the breath,
The present moment,
And the release of anything not serving you.
Allow yourself to find peace and relaxation as you connect with the grounding energy of the earth.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes,
Bringing the sense of calm into your day.
