Hi,

I am Connie Curtis and it's an honor to have you here today to practice with me.

Welcome to this guided breathing meditation.

In this gratitude meditation,

We will focus on gratitude and appreciation of what we have in our lives right now.

Find a comfortable and quiet space where you won't be disturbed for the next couple minutes.

Set or lie down in a relaxed position,

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in through the belly,

Chest and head and exhale slowly letting go of any tension or stress.

As we begin,

Allow your mind to shift its focus to the present moment.

Feel the weight of your body sinking into the ground and bring your awareness to the sensation of your breath entering and leaving your body.

Take a moment to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life.

They can be big or small,

Personal,

A pet,

A person or anything in your life.

Allow a sense of appreciation to fill your heart as you acknowledge all the gratitude that you have in your life right now.

Now let's bring attention to your breath.

Inhale deeply counting to four and exhale slowly counting to six.

Feel the rhythm of your breath grounding you in the present moment.

As you continue to breathe,

Let gratitude flow with each inhale and release any tension with each exhale.

Picture in your mind a moment or a person for which you are deeply grateful.

It could be a loved one,

A supportive friend,

A personal achievement or a simple pleasure in your life.

Visualize this gratitude as a warm radiant light surrounding you,

Filling you with warmth and positivity.

As you maintain this image,

Let the feeling of gratitude expand.

Imagine it spreading to every cell in your body,

Bringing a sense of peace and contentment.

Allow this gratitude to radiate beyond yourself,

Touching the people and the world around you.

Take a few more moments to bask in this atmosphere of gratitude.

Let it infuse your entire being with a sense of joy and appreciation.

When you're ready,

Slowly bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Slowly open your eyes and carry this sense of gratitude with you as you continue your day.

Remember,

Gratitude is a powerful force that can transform your perspective and enrich your life.

My name is Connie Curtis.

Namaste.
