Hello everyone and welcome to this guided sleep meditation.
In today's meditation we are going to be preparing ourselves for a deep and restful beautiful night's sleep.
So go ahead and find a comfortable position in bed.
Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to settle in to the present moment.
I invite you to picture yourself in an open field on a clear starry night.
Imagine the vastness of the night sky filled with shimmering stars.
As you breathe deeply in through the nose,
Feel the cool night air on your skin.
With each exhale release any tension,
Any tightness.
Release all worries into the expansive night sky.
Visualize a comfortable blanket beneath you as you lie down in the meadow gazing up at the stars and let the tranquility of the starlit night guide you into a restful deep sleep.
Continue to breathe naturally allowing the serene atmosphere to envelop you and drift to a peaceful slumber under the vast expanse of the starry night.
As you breathe gently allow for your neck and face to fully relax.
Release your jaw and relax the forehead and the mouth completely.
Relax your chest and your belly.
Relax your hands.
Relax your shoulders and your arms.
With each exhale just become more and more relaxed.
Relax your hips,
Your bottom,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your legs.
Just relax.
Relax your feet.
Relax each toe,
Bringing awareness to the pinky toes.
Relax the ring toe.
Relax the middle toes,
The pointer toe.
Relax and finally to the big toe.
Fully and completely relax.
Feeling your body melt into the bed,
Into the meadow as the starry night shines above you.
The most beautiful,
Vibrant,
These glowing stars,
They support you in your relaxation.
They bring you a feeling of safety,
Of peace,
Of tranquility.
With each breath you feel more and more relaxed at ease.
You find it so easy to just be here now in deep relaxation,
Deep comfort,
Peace and tranquility.
Relaxing more and more,
Feeling so relaxed that even if you try to open your eyes you can't.
They're just too heavy.
Even if you tried to move you couldn't because you're so relaxed and so tired,
So ready for sleep.
You can rest now,
Knowing that you're safe,
Knowing that you've completed your day.
You can rest now.
Rest.
