Welcome to Be With Melinda Before we begin,

I want you to notice the sounds around you The hum of life,

The breath of the universe Acknowledge them and do your best to let them fade to the edge of your awareness Let's begin to breathe slowly and deeply Inhale to the count of 3 Pause for the count of 1 And exhale for the count of 3 As you pause,

Feel your lungs expand around your heart As a warm,

Protective embrace With every breath,

Imagine that pulse within you Your lungs expanding and hugging your heart Continue the breath and let the body soften And let the mind unclench Inhale trust Exhale control Inhale surrender Exhale fear Let the breath move through you Steady,

Effortless and alive Feel peace gathering within your chest Spreading through your body Quietly saying,

I am safe I am here I am held Return to the sound of the universe And know that peace lives within you
