Together today we'll enter a gentle practice to restore balance and emotional ease.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down.
Allow your spine to lengthen as if lifted from the crown of your head by a thread of light.
Close your eyes.
Take a slow inhale through the nose and a long exhale through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale calm.
Exhale tension.
With each breath,
Feel your body softening into support.
Bring awareness to your inner staff of life.
The vertical line of balance within you.
Running from the crown to the base.
Breathe into this staff of life.
With each inhale,
Sense it glowing brighter.
With each exhale,
Sense it steady and rooted.
Bring to mind an emotion present within you.
Inhale,
Breathing spaciousness and light into it.
Exhale,
Releasing it gently down the staff of life and into the earth.
Repeat this for several breaths.
Inhale,
Balance.
Exhale,
Ease.
Inhale,
Light.
Now rest in the center of your being aligned in your staff of life.
Take one final deep breath in.
Hold gently.
And release completely.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this sense of emotional ease with you into the rest of your day.
