Welcome to Be With Melinda.
In this meditation we'll address grief as love.
This brief but potent moment is just a moment to breathe with your grief.
So soften,
Be held,
And let love flow.
Whether you're grieving a person,
A season,
Of life,
Or something unnamed,
You are welcome here.
Grief is not weakness.
It's the echo of love.
So let this practice restore your breath,
Soften the ache,
And offer you back to yourself.
If you are carrying grief,
Old or new,
This moment is for you.
Let the breath guide you now.
Inhale gently through the nose and exhale softly through the mouth.
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your heart be heard.
Grief doesn't need to be solved.
It needs space.
It needs breath.
If you can,
Place your hand over the place where you feel the ache.
Breathe into it now with kindness and patience.
Whisper to yourself,
I am allowed to feel this.
Grief is love remembering.
Let that be enough for now.
Imagine light around your body.
Maybe it's divine.
Maybe it's from someone who's no longer here.
Or maybe it's your own soul saying,
I'm still here.
I've never left.
Inhale and exhale,
And when you're ready,
Declare,
I carry love forward.
May this breath return you to yourself.
May your grief become a teacher of compassion.
You are held,
And you are not alone.
