Welcome!

In this session,

We walk a Japanese trail,

A path of simplicity,

Softness and remembering.

Because sometimes,

As Kabir reminds us so simply,

You are the fish in the ocean,

Yet you are thirsty.

We forget that what we're already seeking is already within us.

So,

In this session,

We return to it gently.

Just let your breath fall into its own rhythm,

Soft,

Natural,

Effortless.

Find your comfy position,

Warm and cozy,

And just take a moment to settle in.

Gently close your eyes.

Feel your body softening,

Your shoulders letting go,

Neck soft,

Your back,

Chest,

Arms,

Hands and fingers releasing,

Abdomen,

Hips,

Legs,

Feet and toes.

Just let go.

Now,

Just visualize a rose opening,

Not rushed,

Not pressed,

But just unfolding petal by petal.

With every inhale,

The petal softens.

With every exhale,

The petal releases.

Now,

Breathe in the scent of a soft pink rose,

Warm,

Delicate,

Comforting.

Inhale,

Compassion.

Exhale,

Any stress or tension.

Now,

Let this ribbon of pink light flow in and out of your heart.

Your breath is drawing it in,

And your breath is sending it out.

Let the breath breathe you.

Just ask your heart quietly,

How do you want me to breathe right now?

Just follow its rhythm,

Its intuitive,

Tender,

Alive,

And just sink into the softness of your breath.

Now,

You are stepping into a world which is made entirely of healing and peace.

Just let your heart guide you forward.

Now,

Imagine yourself stepping onto a quiet Japanese trail at the edge of evening.

There is a soft breeze moving through the trees,

And it's carrying the delicate scent of cherry blossoms.

Sweet,

Gentle,

Almost like a whisper.

The path beneath your feet is lined with fallen petals,

Soft as silk.

They're inviting you to just walk slowly,

Peacefully,

With presence.

As you follow the trail,

Pale pink blossoms drift through the air,

Some landing on your shoulders,

Some melting into the glow around you.

Ahead in the distance,

You see a small wooden temple.

It's simple,

Elegant.

Its lanterns are beginning to glow with amber light,

And a wind chime hangs by the entrance.

It sings a clear,

Soothing note with every breath of wind.

A reminder of harmony,

Of gentleness,

Of balance.

Now,

With each step you take towards this temple,

Your body softens,

Your thoughts quiet,

And your heart is open.

You pause here for a moment near a small stone fountain.

The water is trickling over smooth river stones.

Its sounds are very calming,

Steady,

Like the breath of the earth itself.

You bow your head gently,

A gesture of respect,

A gesture of self-kindness.

This moment holds you.

Now,

The trail curves,

And it's leading you away from the temple and deeper into nature.

The air here grows sweet with the scent of hinoki wood.

It's warming your heart,

Calming your spirit.

Fireflies begin to appear,

Tiny golden lights dancing between the trees and guiding you like quiet guardians.

And then,

As the trail opens,

You see it.

It's a serene lake,

Smooth as glass,

Reflecting the soft pink sky of twilight.

This is the lake of softness.

It's the place your heart has been guiding you towards.

You walk to the water's edge.

The air is warm,

The light is gentle,

And everything here feels safe.

You step into the water now.

It's warm,

Welcoming,

A perfect embrace.

With every step deeper,

A layer of tension dissolves,

A layer of heaviness releases,

A layer of protection softens.

Now,

The water rises to your heart,

And you begin to float effortlessly,

Held by something ancient,

Peaceful,

Unconditionally loving.

Now,

At the center of the lake,

You see a circular pool,

And it's glowing with a soft pink light.

The bottom is shimmering with rose quartz crystals,

Each one glowing like a heart remembering itself.

One stone shines brighter,

And that one is yours.

You reach beneath the warm water and lift it.

It pulses in the palm of your hand.

Warm,

Alive,

Kind.

Now,

Just bring it to your heart,

And just feel the message of this beautiful rose quartz crystal.

The message is wordless but clear.

You are worthy of gentleness.

You are safe to rest.

You are held in love.

Beautiful.

Now,

Just ask softly,

What does my heart want me to know right now?

And listen,

Without effort,

Without reaching,

Just let the message arrive for you.

Now,

Softly,

The crystal begins to melt into light.

This light is flowing into your heart,

Filling your chest with warmth,

And spreading through your entire being.

Soft pink radiance moves through you,

Your ribs,

Your back,

Your shoulders.

So,

Now,

Your whole field of presence is glowing.

Soft,

Tender,

Whole.

So,

Just let yourself float here for a few more moments,

Bathed in a rose light,

And floating in a beautiful lake of unconditional ease.

Now,

Here is a Japanese quote,

Kokoro kara tasoraji,

Peace that comes from the heart.

Just rest in that peace now.

May your steps be gentle,

Your breath be soft,

And your heart remember its own quiet power.

May peace rise within you like dawn,

And may you walk your trail,

Knowing that you are cherished,

Held,

And guided always.

Beautiful.

Just come back now to your physical surroundings.

Feel your body.

Roll your shoulders,

If that feels good,

With a gentle stretch.

Gently and slowly open your eyes.

And welcome back.

Namaste,

My friend.
