Welcome to the Breath of Love,
A soothing practice.
This is your time to rest,
To reconnect,
And to breathe in love.
So,
Find your comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down,
Warm and cozy.
Close your eyes if that feels good,
Or simply soften your gaze.
Let the outside world fade for a moment as you settle into this stillness.
Notice how your body feels right now.
There's no need to change anything,
Just becoming aware.
Feel the gentle weight of your body resting,
Fully supported.
Now place one hand over your heart.
Feel its warmth,
The quiet rhythm beneath your palm.
Your heart has been beating for you all this time.
It's a steady presence of love within you.
Take a slow,
Deep breath.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Filling your chest,
Your belly.
And exhale softly,
Releasing any stress or tension.
Once more,
A deep inhale.
Welcome ease into your body.
And a slow exhale,
Letting go of any tightness,
Any worries.
With each breath,
Imagine yourself softening and winding,
As if sinking into a warm embrace.
Now,
Simply notice the natural rhythm of your breath.
Just at the gentle rise and fall,
Like waves moving in and out.
You are safe here.
You are loved.
And in this moment,
Nothing is needed but your presence.
Tune into the present moment.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your body.
Scan from the top of your head to your toes,
Noticing any areas that feel tight or heavy.
With each inhale,
Invite in softness.
And with each exhale,
Release any tension.
So,
Let your neck and shoulder area release.
Arms,
Hands,
Fingers,
Back,
Chest,
Abdomen,
Hips,
Legs,
Your feet and toes.
Just feel them softening,
Letting go.
As you breathe,
Imagine a warm golden light at your heart center.
This light is softly glowing with each inhale,
And it's expanding with each exhale.
We'll begin now a soothing,
Coherent breathing practice,
Harmonizing your breath with a steady rhythm.
Inhale slowly for a count of six.
And exhale gently for a count of six.
As you continue this steady breath,
Imagine the air flowing directly into your heart,
Filling it with warmth,
Kindness,
Love,
And ease.
As you inhale,
Start to receive love.
And as you exhale,
Send love to yourself.
There's no rush here,
Just this gentle rhythm like waves coming to the shore.
Continue for three more cycles.
Inhale love,
Receive.
Exhale love to you.
If it feels good,
You can silently repeat.
I am worthy of love.
Inhale.
I send kindness to myself.
Exhale.
Allow your heart to soften.
Let the breath carry you into stillness.
So let's start now to visualize your breath of love expanding beyond your heart.
It's filling your whole body with warmth and light.
So with each inhale you take,
Love flows into every cell of your being.
And with each exhale,
Any tension melts away.
Perhaps you feel a soft sense of peace,
A quiet tenderness,
As if you are being held in a loving embrace.
Remember this love has always been within you.
So gently begin to bring awareness back to your surroundings.
Feel the gentle weight of your body,
The air against your skin.
Place one hand over your heart once more.
And just take a moment to notice how you feel.
Even a little more ease or a little more warmth.
Now,
Whisper a kind word to yourself.
Something you need to hear.
Maybe it's,
I am loved.
Or,
I am enough.
Just settle your kind word to yourself into your heart like a beautiful seed of kindness.
Beautiful.
So now let's take a deep breath together.
Inhale deeply,
Filling your heart with gratitude.
And exhale slowly,
Releasing peace into the world.
And when you're ready,
Gently and slowly begin to maybe roll your shoulders or stretch gently.
There's no rush.
And as you slowly open your eyes,
Know that this breath of love is always within you.
You can return to it anytime whenever you need warmth,
Softness,
Love,
Or a simple moment of peace.
Know that you are loved,
You are enough,
And you are held in kindness.
Namaste,
My friend.
