In this piece, Ana offers a steady voice for sudden waves of anxiety. There are no techniques to follow and no advice to perform. Instead, the pacing is calm and spacious, allowing the body to slow naturally. Anxiety does not mean you are failing or in danger. You can let the words move gently while your breath finds its own rhythm. Return to this whenever you need steadiness.

It can arrive without warning.

A tightening.

A quickening.

A sudden sense that something is wrong.

Even when you cannot name it.

Your body moves first.

Your thoughts follow behind.

You may try to understand it.

To solve it quickly.

But not every anxiety wave needs an explanation.

Sometimes anxiety is simply a body that learned to stay ready.

It's simply a body that learned in the past that is not safe.

If your heart is beating faster,

Your breath is more shallow.

It is trying to take care of you.

It doesn't know that in this moment is different.

It doesn't know that past is completed.

You don't have to scold it.

You don't have to push it away.

Let it be held.

Let it be seen.

Let it be acknowledged.

Let it move through.

It belongs to the past.

You are still here.

You are here in the present moment.

You are still here.

Your body simply cares.

And it doesn't know a timeline.

Let it rise.

Let it move through.

And let it stay in the past.

You are still here.
