Welcome.
This is the second part of the track.
If you haven't listened,
Please go to the track one so you will have full awareness and intention of what we'll be doing in this somatic practice.
Our first intention is to change the trauma narrative and to say,
My biology is requesting for me to rest.
And only in that place,
My heart will learn to relate again into the field of trust,
Faith and healing.
So let me repeat,
And we need to hear it many times until we get that click with cognitive mind and survival body.
Resignation and collapse finds healing in surrender and relational space of trust and safety of holding what didn't happen when experience or experiences were too much and too sudden.
Healing happens in surrender and relational space of trust and safety and in the support that didn't happen back then.
Healing happens in relational field that you were removed from.
So today we will move to the practice with pillows.
And you can repeat this practice as part of your day ritual.
You can come here as many times as you feel your body needs it.
I will not say goodbye at the end so you don't feel as if you need to stop and end your practice.
Rest as long as you need,
Or you can set up a timer if you need to go somewhere and you can decide for how long you need to rest.
Let it be ritual,
A practice of self-care and restoration of your own biology.
And throughout the day,
Remind yourself that this can be your place of complete rest,
Where you go,
Where you find your refuge.
So I invite you to get as many pillows as you can.
And ideally for this practice,
You would be lying down.
And you can press the pause and get yourself ready.
So just adjusting your pillows,
Lying sideways,
Placing your pillows behind your back.
You can start from top of your head,
All the way down the spine,
Down your legs,
Really to feel a comfort and support from your back.
And take your time,
Take your time,
You're not rushing with this.
Just leaning and adjusting all the pillows at the back.
And then also,
Use as many pillows as you can and place them in front of your body,
In front of your heart,
Your belly,
Your pelvis.
Adjust your arms nicely so they're resting over the pillows.
Really find yourself supported.
Let your body feel that support from the back,
From the front,
Cocooned as in the place where no one can see you,
Reach out to you,
Where everything stops to exist,
So you can take time just to be in this moment right now,
In this moment right now,
Feeling that protection from the back,
All the way down through your spine.
And let your nervous system feel protection and consistency of relating to the support of the pillows.
Notice that support,
Firmness of the pillow,
Weight,
Protection.
Let your spine drop into that relational field of protection from your pillows.
And lean back,
Just 3% more.
And back and rest.
And let your skin from the back,
All the way from the back,
Feel protection of the pillows as well.
And let your skin melt into those pillows,
From the back and all the way to the front.
Let your skin as a soft cloak covers and melts gently over your body into the mattress,
All the way down to the ground.
And rest into the relational field,
Right here,
Right now.
There is no place to be but here.
And from your front body,
Feel the support of the pillows and let your lungs and let your digestive system.
Lean on those pillows and rest.
Let your lungs rest over the pillow.
Let them rest.
That's it.
And your digestive system.
At the front,
Feeling your digestive system and allowing your tongue to rest in your mouth,
Your jaw to soften,
Your stomach to expand and lean onto the pillows,
Fully resting.
Fully,
Fully resting and leaning into the support of pillows.
Feeling that relational trust and surrender.
Your front body.
This is rest and it's allowed and okay to be in this space.
And this is not you resigning.
In this moment,
We are not collapsing,
We are recovering and resting in the relational field of your body and the pillows around you.
Fully protected from the back and nourished from the front.
Back body is protected,
Front body is nourished.
And notice your heart in the middle of your body,
Your beautiful heart.
Allow your heart to feel that support,
That support.
And let your heart move all the way to the spine.
Let your heart expand,
Soften and rest into the spine.
There is a plenty of support in your spine.
And let your spine expand and soften and fully lean onto the pillows.
That's it.
Let that happen.
Rest and release.
In this moment,
Let your heart release the weight,
Heaviness,
Sadness,
Grief.
Let it melt out,
Soften and rest.
That's it.
Allow your heart to yield into the relational space,
In that space between heart and spine.
And let your heart feel that space of rest.
You are welcomed in this space.
Your biology needs this space.
Let your biology melt,
Replenish and nourish in this moment,
Right now,
In this space.
And let your lungs yield into relational space between pillows and lungs.
Allow your lungs to lean into that space.
Let that happen.
Release into the rest your front body,
Your back body and your middle body,
Your heart space.
Let your heart rest in it,
In the middle.
And let it yield into that space at the back.
Plenty of space.
Plenty of space around your heart.
Plenty of space around your heart.
And let it fully lean at the back of your spine.
Nothing to do,
Nowhere to be,
Except here.
Take your time.
And in this moment,
If people are not safe for you,
You can imagine and call in your support system.
And this can be your angels,
Your archangels,
Divine,
Your Oversoul,
Your spirit,
Elements,
Sacred animals,
Your higher support.
You can call them in.
Call them in.
Call them in.
Let that happen.
Call them around you,
Above you,
Below you,
At the back fully protecting you,
And at the front fully nurturing you exactly in the state where you need to be.
And feel that resting space in between your lungs,
In your digestive system,
Your spine,
Your skin,
Plenty of space in between,
And your heart.
Expansive space inside of you and between your body and the support system around you,
Your pillows,
Your guardians,
Your divine system,
Your space,
Contained space with protection from the back,
Nourishment from the front,
And sacred holding from above and around.
No need to rush it.
No need to be done with it.
For you,
There is an infinite time to be in a space of holding and resting.
And you're not alone.
You're not alone.
And just let your heart move back,
Fully moving back and resting into your spine.
And let your lungs and belly lean at the front.
Bask and rest.
Yield into what your biology needs and yield into what is present.
It's okay to be here.
It's needed to be here.
You have all permission to be here.
Yield into rest and recovery.
And if you would like to have your hand held by someone who makes you feel suited and safe,
Your angel,
Your animal,
Your spirit,
Your person,
Or me,
I can hold your hand as long as you need.
As long as you need.
And if you need space only for yourself,
Not anyone around you,
You honor that,
Your space.
Your space of your solitude.
And rest.
And rest.
You're not alone.
