Transcript

Hello and welcome.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Whatever allows your body to feel supported and at ease.

Gently close your eyes and take a slow,

Deep breath in through the nose.

Exhale softly through your mouth.

Another inhale and a long,

Deep exhale.

With each breath,

Allow your body to soften.

Let your shoulders melt as if they're gently being invited to let go.

Allow your jaw to relax without effort.

Relax the space behind your eyes.

There is nowhere you need to go,

Nothing you need to do.

This time is simply for you.

Begin to bring awareness to your body.

Notice where you feel contact,

Your body meeting the chair,

The floor,

Or the earth beneath you.

Feel yourself gently held by what is beneath you,

As though the earth itself is offering you support.

You are safe to rest here.

Now gently guide your attention down into your legs,

Your calves,

Your ankles,

And finally into your feet.

Let your attention rest in your feet,

Just as they are.

Just awareness,

Coolness,

Tingling,

Or stillness.

Imagine now that the soles of your feet hold a gentle magnetic pull,

A quiet,

Natural force that belongs to you.

The earth feels this pull and responds,

Welcoming you,

Drawing you closer,

Recognizing one of her own.

With each slow exhale,

Feel that magnetic connection deepen,

Settling you comfortably into the earth's embrace.

There is no effort here,

No forcing,

Just a soft,

Steady drawing downward.

Feel your energy flowing gently through your feet,

Through the floor beneath you,

Down into the rich layers of soil and stone below.

The earth receives you fully.

She knows how to hold you.

Take a few breaths here,

Resting into this connection,

Feeling yourself steadied,

Supported,

At home.

Now imagine that anything within you that feels heavy,

Stress,

Tension,

Emotional residue,

Thoughts,

Energies,

Or patterns that no longer serve your highest good,

They all begin to gently drain downward,

Through your legs,

Through your feet,

Through the magnetic connection into the earth.

You do not need to analyze or name these energies,

Simply allow them to be released.

Mother Earth receives them without judgment.

She knows how to compost and transform all things.

With each exhale,

Feel yourself becoming lighter,

Clearer,

More spacious within.

You are making room.

Now from deep within the earth,

Imagine a beautiful nourishing nectar beginning to rise.

This is Mother Earth's healing essence,

Ancient,

Loving.

From deep within the earth,

It moves upward,

Flowing naturally into your feet,

Nourishing them,

And holding them in comfort.

Slowly this healing nectar rises into your ankles,

Your calves,

Your knees.

Feel its soothing joints,

Muscles,

And bones.

It continues upward into your thighs,

Your hips,

Your lower back.

Breathing nourishment,

Balance,

And calm into every cell.

Allow this energy to fill your abdomen,

Your chest,

Your heart.

Notice your heart becoming softer,

More open,

More at ease.

The nectar flows into your shoulders,

Down your arms,

Into your hands,

And fingertips.

And finally it rises up the neck,

Into the jaw,

The face,

The ears,

Filling your entire being.

You are now connected and grounded.

Every place that has felt depleted is quietly nourished.

Rest here for a few moments.

Feel the steady connection between you and the earth.

Feel your breath moving naturally.

Feel yourself fully embodied.

Silently,

You may offer gratitude to your body,

To the earth,

To yourself for taking this time to connect.

Know that this grounding connection is always available to you.

You can return to it with a single breath,

A single moment of awareness.

Begin to gently bring your awareness back to the space around you.

Notice the room,

The temperature of the air,

The support beneath your body.

Wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle your toes.

Take one deep breath.

Take one final deep breath in together,

Releasing it slowly.

Gently open your eyes.

Carry this grounded,

Nourished energy with you into the rest of your day,

Or into your sleep.

The light in me honors the light in you.
