Hello and welcome to this guided meditation practice.
Sometimes in life we may feel overwhelmed with thoughts and feelings,
Maybe associated with our present circumstance or perhaps the future.
This practice should help to quiet a little,
All this internal chatter and hopefully create some calm and clarity as we spend a few moments tapping into our heart space.
So when you're ready I'd like to invite you to enter into your meditation position.
This can be whatever feels right for you and just take a few moments to release any tension,
Relax your shoulders,
Soften the muscles around your eyes.
For the next few moments just be.
And now we'll begin with three deep mindful breaths.
So breathing in through the nose and releasing through the mouth and twice more breathing in and letting go.
And last time breathing in and letting go.
And now we'll begin with the practice.
So I'd like to begin by inviting you to draw your attention down to your heart space and just say an internal hello to your heart.
How does it respond?
For the next few moments just stay in this space and on each exhale imagine saying a warm friendly hello or hi to your heart.
If you catch your mind wandering at any point just gently bring it back to the friendly hellos to your heart.
And you can now drop the hellos to your heart and I'd like you to imagine a golden light expanding from your heart.
Can you imagine it getting bigger and bigger on each inhale?
Can you imagine it getting bigger and bigger on each inhale?
Okay.
Imagine this warm golden light radiating to other parts of your body caressing you and healing you.
Just bask in this warm radiant light.
Say a quiet thank you to your heart.
If it feels right you can place your hands on your heart.
And now you can let go of the image and any intention.
And for the next few moments just stay in your heart space.
Just stay there.
Now I'd like to invite you to take a deep inhale breathing in fully to your heart filling it up and letting go.
