Hello and welcome to this guided talk through affirmation practice.

Today we will be working with affirmations to release judgment.

With the world we live in today,

It's very easy to get sucked into narratives where we pass judgment on others.

However,

Engaging in these behaviors,

We tend to alienate not only the person that we're judging,

But also ourselves,

Creating separation.

In this state of being,

We don't have the ability or opportunity to understand and consider another person's life experience,

Which is a real great loss when you think about it.

So,

For this practice,

We will be trying to let go of this behavior and in doing so,

Creating some space for growth.

If you're not already,

I'd like to invite you to enter your meditation position.

Take a moment to come into your body.

Relax and releasing tension in your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders.

Take a minute now to just be.

And now we'll begin with three deep mindful breaths.

So,

Breathing in through the nose.

And releasing through the mouth.

And breathing in.

And letting go.

And now we'll begin with the affirmations.

I choose to release all judgment towards others.

I choose to forgive so I can feel better.

I choose to forgive so that others can also feel better.

Though I may feel tempted to engage in judgment towards others,

I know deep down this isn't serving me.

Though I may feel tempted to engage in judgment towards others,

I know deep down this isn't serving me.

I know that my judgment isn't serving anyone.

Thank you! Your observations about suspending judgement are spot on, and I liked the range of affirmations that you offered. I find more work here than I expected, but it’s incredibly important. Well done.
