Hello and welcome to this guided affirmation practice.
Sometimes in life we may find ourselves putting a lot of time and energy into projecting and planning for the future.
Or we may spend time analysing and overthinking things that have passed.
These thought patterns aren't always the most helpful,
Particularly when you consider that this moment is the only thing that you truly have power over.
So hopefully this practice will help ground us and bring us back to the present moment.
So I'd like to invite you to enter your meditation position,
Adopt whatever position feels right for you.
Just take a moment to tune into your body.
Relax the muscles around your eyes.
Release your jaw,
Your shoulders.
Relax your tummy.
And for the next few moments,
Just be.
And now we'll take three deep cleansing breaths.
