Hello again.
This meditation is called Breathe.
When you may sense a little unease and rest.
Start to feel a little bit of discomfort.
Maybe some resistance,
Tension.
Whatever it might be that your central nervous system is telling you.
This highly effective.
Technique of breathing will bring body back to a sense of calm and ease and balance.
And all it requires really is just a couple of moments.
Of your focused attention.
So we can begin by sitting with a straight back,
Closing our eyes and our mouth,
And breathing in and out through our nose.
Importantly now as we begin to breathe.
The breath,
As it moves into the body,
Is calm.
The movement of breath flowing into the body is one of calmness.
Of peace.
Slowing everything down.
Quiet.
Gradual inhalation.
Moving into our body ever so gently.
We keep breathing in until we start to feel.
And expansion in our ribcage.
Keep breathing in until we come to the top of the breath.
You can pause for a moment.
And then exhale.
Our outgoing breath is as equally calm.
Gradual.
Relax.
As our incoming breath.
Endeavour though to make the flow of your outgoing breath to be a little longer in time.
Than the length of your incoming breath.
And as we get to the bottom of the breath Pause again.
Before you begin breathing in again.
Together breathing in quietly,
Calmly.
Peacefully.
Nothing rushed,
Nothing forced.
Just a soft,
Gentle.
A flowing movement of air,
Of oxygen.
As it flows into the body.
Coming to the top of the breath.
PAUSE and then exhale.
And as the breath leaves the body.
You may imagine that you are releasing anything that may be causing any unrest.
Any disturbance.
Any feelings of being unsettled.
Let them flow gently out.
As you breathe out.
The body knows how to breathe.
All we're doing is reconnecting back into the wisdom presence.
Of the body.
At its deepest state of rest and calm.
Coming back into this harmonic rhythm.
This exchange.
This timeless movement.
Breathing.
Breathing in effortlessly,
Quietly,
Calmly.
Let the air flow deep into your lungs.
Keep breathing in until you reach the top of your breath.
Then pause.
And then exile.
Quietly,
Calmly.
Peacefully.
Endeavouring to make the outgoing breath longer.
Than the length of the incoming breath.
And as the body comes into this natural rhythm.
Automatically.
The body and the mind begin.
To settle.
To relax.
To come back to a pace of.
Gentle,
Awareness and stillness.
And deep relaxation.
And it all returns back.
To a place of harmony.
Quietness and peacefulness.
So at those times when you may be feeling a little uncertain.
A little anxious,
Unsure.
You just feel within your body that all of a sudden you feel out of balance.
And come back to this.
Breathing.
Gentle breathing rhythm,
It will return the body and mind to a place of deep and calm.
Rest.
Blessings to you.
