The Modern Woman - Who Is She?

Hello, Hello, Hello, Welcome, Welcome. I'm so grateful to be here today. I'm so grateful that you are here with me. I am Alara Sage. And I work with ambitious women professionals, Leaders, Visionaries, Creatives, Who are really feeling a unfulfilled life, Feeling a disconnect with themselves, Feeling that there is more to themselves ultimately and then to their life, More pleasure, More depth, More connection. And I assist them to move out of the mind, Out of the performance mindset and what we're going to talk about today, Out of the masculine-driven energy and into their feminine, A reconnection to themselves and their wholeness so they can experience that wholeness of being in their life. So I'm excited for this talk today because I sat and I was really connecting to my womb. And this is the talk that I kept putting on Insight Timer and I kept missing. I couldn't make it. I didn't have internet. I got sick. I moved. All these things happened. So it was interesting how this talk kept floating around, Not wanting to land in the physical until today. Here we are. So today we're going to talk about the modern woman. Who is she? And I love that that just came through about the talk landing because that is the feminine. She is seemingly chaotic. And I say seemingly because there is a rhythm to her that is not chaos. It is rhythmic, Rhythmic, Rhythmic, Rhythmic, Rhythmic. I like the word rhythmatic. Rhythmic. It is rhythmic and it is cyclical. So when we think of cyclical and rhythmic, That doesn't feel chaotic, Does it? Not at all. Feels kind of like the heartbeat. Feels like dancing. So we're going to talk about this today. So much beautiful information that wants to come through. I'm going to have troubles not just being in orgasm the whole time. So bear with me when I go through my blisslets, As I call them, Bliss hits, Blisslet, Orgasm, Juiciness. You know, I wasn't always like this. I definitely wasn't always orgasmic, But I wasn't always what I would call a woman. Even at the age at which we would call ourselves women versus girls. I was not in my woman. And I just get so lit with this conversation, Guys. It's so dear to my heart. So dear to me, This conversation, Because I wasn't always. I grew up riding horses and I was a tomboy. I was such a tomboy. I loved it and I wouldn't have changed it for a world. And I really just didn't understand girly girls and nothing against them. I never had anything against them. Sorry, Something in my eye. It just wasn't me. I was very happy to be in the dirt, Very happy to be outside, Very happy to be mucking stalls even, Just being with the horses. Running. I spent a lot of time in nature. And I wasn't girly at all, Not even girly girl. I just wasn't feminine. Let's bring it into that context. Up until high school, I wore jeans and T-shirts. Middle school, I was all jeans and T-shirts. There's no feminineness, Femininity about me at all. Not right or wrong, It just was. It was my experience. And then in high school and even in middle school, I had a real run-in with women, With ladies, With girls. I had a very difficult and challenging experience with women. And it went largely throughout my entire life. And so in high school, I found reprieve in the masculine, I hung out with men because they seemed simple to me. Not simple-minded, I don't mean that at all, But just straightforward. I understood them. I could do guys. Like not sexually. I mean, Obviously I could do that too. But I mean emotionally, Mentally, Physically, I could be with them. You know, Like it just felt really clear and clean to me. And I had very good female friends, But they were like on hand. You know, It was just a few, Just a couple. And that was it. And that was most of my life. And I didn't connect to femininity at all. I didn't feel feminine. And largely I didn't even feel sex, Sex, Sexual, Sexy, That was what I was looking for. Sexy. And I've always had a lot of sexual energy, But I learned to shut it down because it wasn't safe. It caused all kinds of problems with women and with men. So I shut it all down. Talk about not being orgasmic. And then I started on this journey, This journey of spiritual awakening that for me started back in like 2005. And I was in a masculine energy because that was what was safe. So I had leaned into my own inner masculine. Again, Not right or wrong, Actually perfect. I'd found peace within my own masculine energy and I had really suppressed, Even shut down my feminine. So along this journey of spiritual awakening, So be it as it is, The woman within me started to awaken. She started to rise. She started to reveal herself to me. Much to my amazement, Honestly, The amount of times I have dropped my knees in absolute reverence for the woman inside of me, For my feminine, For her beauty. And still being so uncertain of who she was, Still being so uncertain of how to be her. I had been in the masculine, I had been in the mind for so long. How do you be in your body? How do you feel sexy? How do you allow that to be seen and feel safe? How do you let your chaos be seen and feel safe? So I invite all of you to just take a nice deep breath in through the nose, Out through the mouth. Using these words, Feeling where perhaps you have a similar story, Never the same, Right? All of our stories are unique. Maybe part of it resonates with you, Maybe all of it resonates with you. But being really tuned into your body right now, Right? Because our bodies tell us so much. How does your body feel? As I speak about the woman, Just awareness, Just the observer, Just witness yourself. No need for anything to change. Just witness, Just be. Experience yourself. Allow yourself to experience yourself. So good. It's so delicious. It's so delightful. It's so delicious, So deliciously delightful to you. So this journey into my own feminine, It has been crazy. I mean, When I started to really connect to my feminine, I started to channel Kali. It's much of who I am. I'm not saying I'm Kali, The energy of her. If you know anything about Kali, She's death and rebirth. She's ultimately about the death of ego. But she has this dismantling, This dissolving, This consumption energy in order for birth to occur. And out of nowhere, I found myself speaking tongue. It was the craziest thing. It just started happening one day. I just started speaking tongue. And it was all this Kali energy. And I would do these events, And I knew I had to do it. I knew I had to show up. Not for everybody else. Yes, For everybody else, But for me. Mostly for me to say that it's OK. I can show up. My powerful woman, It's OK. I can do this. I would be scared. What are these people going to think of what comes out of my mouth? They're going to fucking think I'm crazy. The crazy woman. How much has that been in our society? Women are crazy. But I did it anyways. It was extremely powerful. And guess what? Nobody left calling me crazy. And it still took me years of that to own my voice as a woman, As my woman. It took me years. I still, Every time I'd open it, And sound would come out of it, And this power would come through me. I would be lit in this uncertainty. I would be lit in this fear of being rejected. So again, Take a nice deep breath here. In through the nose, Out through the mouth. Rejected in our own woman. Rejected in our power, Rejected in our tenderness, Rejected in our vulnerability. So this talk today is about this. Who is she for you? Who is that woman for you? So I'm here to give you some pointers, Some words that are coding. They're meant, They're very specific words meant to connect you, To invite you, To connect more to yourself, To her within you. And the context of this conversation today is it is the rising of the feminine, But it's for women. Because the rising of the feminine is for all of us, Despite what sexual organs you have, Despite what gender identity you carry. Feminine rising is for humanity. But our woman within is for those who identify as women. An understanding of how this comes through the feminine body or those who identify as a feminine body. Because that's where I serve because my journey has been that to own that, To claim that, To allow that, To become that, To feel that, To resonate that, To emanate that and to help others do the same. So who is she? First off, She's powerful. The power of the woman comes from the feminine energy, Which is inexhaustible. It is a well. It is Gaia. It is the womb. It is that of creative life force energy, Shakti. And there's no bottom to that. The well drops down deep into the earth. Deep into Gaia. It pulls, It draws. Water. Water. Water. Fluidity, Movement, Grace, Water, Power, Softness, Water. If you think about the ocean, This is the woman. She's so very vast and fucking emotional. I am an emotional person. Not negatively, But I have emotion. I have strong emotion, Beautiful emotion. And I stand in my emotion. I allow my emotion. I am the emotion for that moment as it rises through me like a wave, Just like the water when it's that wave in that moment of that wave, It's the wave, But it's so much more. In the moment of the storm, It's the storm, But it's so much more. The water can be so the ocean, Right? Can be so turmoil, So chaotic, So extreme, So powerful, And then extremely calm, Extremely deep. That's power. That's really what power is. Power is not always intense. Power is extremely tender. So when you bring the Shakti, The femme, Through the feminine body in connection with the womb and in connection with the heart, You get this tenderness. This tenderness, This desire to nurture. So take another nice deep breath here in through the nose, Out through the mouth. Feel your desire to nurture. Just that word before the mind starts to describe what that is. Just feel right now in your womb, Nurture, Nourishment. Can feel it in your breasts. Nourishment nurture. To me, It feels like giving from that well. Giving life, Giving water from the well of my being. How it comes out in the physical doesn't really matter. What is the vibration? That's the woman. So powerful, So tender, So nurturing, So vast, So very, Very deep. So incredibly magnetic. You can feel this energy in yourself. You have felt this energy in yourself, This magnetism. It's very much a part of our sexual energy. Sexual energy is a form of Shakti. Not all Shakti is sexual energy. Not all creative life force energy is sexual energy, But sexual energy is creative force, Creative life force, Creative. But you felt this magnetism each and every one of you have when you're feeling sexy, When you're feeling on fire, When you're feeling delicious, When you're feeling beautiful. Whatever it is for you. Maybe it's dancing. Maybe it's doing art. Maybe it's doing yoga. Maybe it's reading a book, Right? Like you is you. Your sexy is you. Not talking sexy as in billboard sexy. I'm talking your inner sexy or sexy as fuck self, Which is you rooted down, Down into your Shakti open available to that energy within you. It lights us up. It actually makes us more beautiful. Whatever that means, This magnetism of the feminine, You felt her. She draws in the polarity of the feminine is negative. The polarity of the masculine is positive. The feminine draws in. So if you think of that in the context of the woman, We are here to draw upon the well. So this modern woman is extremely magnetic, But not in a manipulative way. There's no need for manipulation. When you're magnetic, There's no need for manipulation. When you are an exhaustible, What is their need to manipulate? You are all creation. So this whole energy, And I know that you most definitely have experienced this as well. The manipulation of the feminine, The manipulation as the feminine women manipulating. It's going out the door. The modern woman has no need for such thing in any context. It's vibrational. It has no location to it. You can magnetize people across the planet. You can magnetize beings interdimensionally. There's no positionality to your magnetism. How delicious is that? Just take another deep breath. I want you to really feel into your pelvis with this. This is where your magnetism comes from. Feel your womb. This is your woman. Even if it's a symbolic womb, It doesn't matter. So the ability of the magnetism of the woman allows her to dance and be playful, Be light and go ballerina and be light on her feet because she's already deep. She's already of depth. She doesn't need to be heavy. I just got bliss lit. Light on her feet because she doesn't need to be heavy. She's of depth. She has depth. She is depth. And absolutely connected. The modern woman is connected. Connected to the rhythms and the cycles of Gaia. Connected to the rhythms and cycles of her own body. Connected to the rhythms and the cycles of the planet. Connected to the rhythms and cycles of her family. Connected to the rhythms and cycles of people in her circle. Connected to the rhythms and cycles of humanity. Connected, Connected, Connected, Deeply connected. You can't be deep without being connected because that's what depth is. Depth is the connection. It's what creates depth. It's one of the most beautiful things that I see in my clients. I work with women who have been on the journey like me who have found themselves in masculine energies and the need to perform and the doer in the mind and the intellect, Which is a beautiful thing. I'm all for the intellect 100%. But when we combine that with the inner feminine, Wow, Right? That's where we really experience the wholeness within ourselves. So I'm all for intellect. But when we're heavy on intellect, We're not connected. We're up in our minds. We don't feel deeply and we're not connected to these rhythms through these cycles that are so much a part of the modern woman because the creative life force energy that you are is cyclical. This whole belief that we should just be producing all the fucking time is illusionary. There's no place for that now. Already now, Here now, There's no place for production all the time, For being on all the time because there is an ebb and flow just like the tides. Sometimes the tides move very little. You hardly even notice. And then other times the tides are drastic, Intense. And that is you. That is the cycle of you and your cycles are different and unique for you. And they may coincide with others, But they will still be unique to you. And the more that you understand your cycles, Your rhythm, The more you show up as the power of your woman. She doesn't need to be on. She does not need to be on. She's on when she's on and she's off when she's off. And all of it is honored. The ebb just as much as the flow. Because of the ebb, The flow exists. The deeper in the ebb you go, The more powerful the flow arrives. Watching this in my clients, Watching them go from the doer, The producer, The performer, To moving into their bodies, Feeling their natural rhythm, Starting to align to that and the ease, The juiciness, The orgasm, The deliciousness, The flow that comes with our natural, Our unique natural rhythm. There's nothing like it. It is like the dancer. It is like the water. It is like Gaia. You can't put a calendar to Gaia. You can try. And sometimes she abides. Sometimes she goes along with winter, Summer, Fall, Spring. Sometimes she doesn't because she doesn't need to show up as we tell her to. She doesn't need to show up per a calendar. She shows up as she shows up. She shows up how she desires to show up. Let's take another nice deep breath into your body. Just giving yourself permission here. Just through your intention. Permission for your woman, For your cycle, For your rhythm. And that can seem chaotic because we're ever changing. The feminine can shift like that and it can seem nonlinear. She is not linear. She's over here. She's over there. Her soul is part of the orchestration of her magic. The modern woman is extremely magical and I don't mean abracadabra although by all means I love that word. Abracadabra and so it is. Abracadabra and so it is. I mean you just feel the power of that. I speak it into existence. So yes that kind of magic but just the magic of combining magnetism with creation. That's magical. It's magical and miraculous. Magical in the everyday application of magic. Through the dance of your own being things arise effortlessly and gracefully for you. So this is the modern woman. She's not in force. She's in power. She doesn't need to force her way through anything. She doesn't need to show up for anybody. She shows up when she desires to show up. She shows up how she desires to show up. And that desire, That passion creates beauty. Creates magic. And yet she's deeply connected as I mentioned. Deeply connected. She can feel what others are feeling. Sense what others are feeling. Understand what they need in the moment. Understand where they are. How many times I get told, You know, I'll reach out to somebody and they're like, Oh my gosh, You always reach out at the exact right time. Always. You just know. Just reaching out just that moment. Checking in on them. Truly from my heart. They feel it. They feel loved. They feel supported. They feel seen. Who doesn't want that? So this is the woman. We get to be sexy. We get to own our sexual energy. We get to own our power. We get to own our beauty. We get to own our bodies. Whatever body you have. No more of this looking a particular way. We get to own who we are. Who how, Who and how the woman that we are showing up in this body. Like I said, The beauty of it is you actually become more beautiful. But it's kind of like a cherry on top. Because if you're really owning it, It's not about becoming more beautiful. It's about the ownership of you. Ownership of your power and your tenderness and your depth and ownership, The vulnerability, The availability of yourself as a woman. No more hiding. No more playing small. No more people pleasing. Just you showing up in every moment exactly as you desire. That's the modern woman. And make way for her. Make way for her. She's here. So you can make way for her and yourself. You can make way for her and other women. It's all about all of us owning the woman within us. It's all about us uniting in sisterhood. A word I never thought I would say. I never felt any kind of sisterhood. What the fuck is that? But when women are women, When they're in ownership of this, They want each other to rise. The support that a woman brings another woman is indescribable. It's indescribable. So here we're here to be it. We're here to emanate it. We're here to remind others of it. We're here to support them to become it. All of it. So I leave you with this. Your womb, Your clitoris, Your G-spot, Your sexual organs, Your breasts. I invite you to connect to them physically, Emotionally, Spiritually, And honor them. Honor those parts of yourself. Own them. Connect to them. Love them deeply from your heart. Love them deeply from your heart. And just notice what happens in your life as you love on your woman within. One more nice deep breath in through the nose, Out through the mouth.
