So good to be here.
So today I wanted to talk about digestive issues.
This is definitely something that I have personally gone through a lot of and I thought it would be a really great thing to talk about because a lot of people experience it.
Thanks for all the hearts guys.
Right Julie?
I thought so.
And of course,
You know,
I'm going to say this throughout the video or throughout the session as people jump in that if you have physical issues,
You know,
Seek medical advice,
Right?
Disclaimer!
Seek medical advice.
Okay,
Now that we got that out of the way,
We can talk about the energetics of digestive issues.
And hi Sandy from BC.
Wonderful to see you.
So what really causes digestive issues in the body as far as the energetics go?
Okay,
So let's talk about what are we really referring to when I say the digestive system.
We're going to be referring to a lot of the stomach,
Obviously.
Even the pancreas gallbladder,
Which those three are governed by the solar plexus chakra.
We're also referring to the small intestines,
Which are sacral chakra and the colon,
Which is sacral and potentially a little bit of root chakra.
Okay.
And this is important,
You know,
For those of you who know me,
I often speak in chakras only because that is where I see the energy.
And that's where I'm shown where the,
You know,
Limiting beliefs are,
The blockages,
The restrictions that cause these kinds of energies.
So let's start there,
Right?
Some of the digestive issues can be directly to chakra related information.
Okay,
So if we're talking about the solar plexus,
Right,
We're talking a lot about your sense of identity and relationship to others,
Right?
The kind of the,
I am this in relationship to others.
Okay.
It also is referenced to your will.
Okay.
Your will,
Your ability to exert your will in your physical environment to quote unquote take action.
Okay.
Which also can be corresponding to the inner masculine energy.
So some of the things in our solar plexus that can really affect again,
Our stomach,
Right?
Our gallbladder and our pancreas are,
I would say what the primary ones is really not feeling as though we are enough.
Okay.
And you know how many of you have felt this in your life?
I know I most definitely have,
Right?
That no matter what you do,
It's not enough.
No matter who,
What you achieve,
It's not enough.
Okay.
And this is a real distortion,
A real pain actually of the masculine energy.
And I've been seeing this come up a lot in the collective energy of the masculine feeling like no matter what he does,
It's never enough.
Okay.
So there's that driving force to constantly do,
Right?
To try to create a sense of value,
A sense of fulfillment about one's existence.
Just kind of breathe with that for a moment to feel a sense of fulfillment value around your existence.
That's that's big,
Right?
And so again,
If you don't feel like you have a real purpose,
A real sense of like,
I am here in this life,
Really powerfully creating and bringing value by simply being me because it's not about action,
Right?
It's about the resonance of our being into action,
Right?
It's about love incarnate,
Which we are being brought into action.
It's not about the action itself that brings value to ourselves.
But if your action focused,
Or if you feel that once you accomplish this,
Then you'll feel that once this is done,
Then you'll feel that,
Right?
Then that's that not enough energy.
Okay.
Another way it can show up is a difficulty exerting your will,
A difficulty taking action.
And that can be very much related also to the adrenals,
Which we're not really talking about today because it's not the digestive system,
But it is there,
Right?
And not feeling as though you have the capacity to really powerfully exert your will.
So perhaps you find yourself constantly hitting resistance,
Okay?
And you find yourself like having these dreams or having these visions or having this aspiration from your passion,
Right?
Your passion wanting to come through your body into action and you finding an inability to bring it into action,
Right?
So that is really an under,
Under expressed solar plexus.
All of that is an under expressed solar plexus.
Okay.
Thank you,
Hannah.
And over expressed solar plexus,
Which both of these can lead to stomach,
Gallbladder,
Pancreas and over expressed solar plexus is when we feel like we have to overly express a sense of confidence.
Okay.
And the word narcissist comes through in this space and you know,
I don't really throw that word around very much.
I don't really like the charge that it's been given a lot lately,
But that's what comes through right now.
So I honour it.
Okay.
That narcissistic like pushing your self onto others,
Right?
And insisting that basically,
You know best and your way is the way,
Right?
So it's,
It's an overexertion of your will onto other people.
Okay.
Now it doesn't,
I want to be really clear because what comes through right now is it doesn't mean that if you have an over expressed solar plexus that you're a narcissist.
Okay.
Again,
I use that word cause it came through,
But there's a lot of people that can have overexpressed solar plexuses and they're nowhere near a narcissistic level of,
I don't even know what you would call it being this.
Okay.
So it's not fully what I'm saying.
That's just one very extreme expression of it.
Okay.
So again,
It can be like,
For instance,
I know I've gone through periods of time where I've had an overexpressed solar plexus and what that really looked like is it looked like me really overly seeming confident and really,
You know,
One of those spaces where I felt like I had to like teach everybody.
This is many years ago and,
And,
But not just like a nice teach.
It was kind of like a shove it down other people's throat.
Right.
So it was kind of that will brought to forward and ultimately all that's doing is really covering up a sense of not enough.
Okay.
But it's overly expressed as opposed to underly,
Underly expressed.
I'm going to,
I'm going to create that word right there because there's always two flips to a coin of how things can be expressed.
There can be an outward or kind of an inward expression of that.
So those are the main ones of the,
Of the solar plexus and really any and all beliefs that one has really about themselves.
Like one of the ones I used to carry just very strongly was I can't,
Right?
Like I believed that,
That I couldn't.
And even when I would try things and like,
I've always been very courageous.
I would try things that the little voice in the background was like,
You can't do this.
You're,
You're going to fail.
Right?
So again,
That solar plexus of whatever you think of,
I am like,
I am capable,
Right?
I am able.
Those are really strong affirmations in the solar plexus.
So I am not enough.
I am inadequate.
I am not capable.
Right?
So just again,
This is all about awareness of noticing what you might be carrying.
And so when we have an under expressed solar plexus,
Right,
There's not really enough energy in the stomach.
And so that can really show up as what some teachings would call like not enough fire in the gut.
Right.
And so then the,
Your digestion is not really functioning.
It's like the heat isn't there in your digestive system.
Right?
So if you think about like,
I mean,
Literally,
You know,
They calculate calories by putting,
Are they used to,
I don't know where they,
You know,
Burned food.
Right?
So if you think of that,
Of like burning food,
If the fire is really just like barely smoldering,
And it's not super intense,
Like the food's not going to get burnt well,
Right?
It's not going to be eaten.
It's not going to be alchemized in the gut.
It's going to struggle to be fully processed.
That's what I was looking for.
Okay.
So that's again,
The under underrated.
Also,
You've got to think about with the correlation between the organs of the stomach and the pancreas,
The gallbladder,
When it's under expressed,
There's not a lot of communication and like community working between those organs where they are functioning together.
Okay.
It could mean that one of them isn't really functioning at all,
Or they're not communicating well.
Okay.
So again,
Another way that those that an under expressed solar plexus would show up is gallbladder not functioning well,
Pancreas not functioning fully.
Okay.
And or communication between the upper digestive system.
And we're going to get in a little bit deeper in a little bit where I'll talk a little bit more about hormones,
Et cetera.
So again,
That's the solar plexus.
Then we move down into the sacral and we're really dealing with our small intestines and colon.
Okay.
So the intestinal system and the small intestines are really about absorbing nutrients.
And I love the beauty of this correlation because the sacral chakra is really about receiving.
It's the feminine.
So if you think about your sacral chakra and or your ability to receive,
If it's not open and you don't feel safe to receive,
Right.
And you don't,
You can't receive,
Then your,
Your small intestines also could be,
Would be more susceptible to,
Cause it's not guaranteed,
Right?
There's so many factors and how much the chakra is open or not open.
So it's not like if this it's then this,
Right?
It's not linear,
But these are again,
Kind of signs and symptoms to understand.
If you can't receive from other people,
If you can't receive from the universe,
If you can't receive from yourself,
Right,
Then how can your small intestines receive nutrients from the food that you're in taking?
And like,
It's just so beautiful,
Isn't it?
Like it just makes sense.
And I love specifically the nutrients because in the feminine,
It is the nurturing,
The feminine is a nurturing energy.
The,
You know,
The,
The womb is associated with the sacral and that's the nurturing,
Nurture energy.
The ma,
Even if you don't have a womb,
Right?
That's that energy.
So again,
The ability to receive those energies within your body from what you eat.
Okay.
So this is why some people can be eating really healthy and they don't necessarily feel fantastic.
Right.
And it could be multiple,
You know,
Multiple chakras and these chakras definitely,
You know,
Compile symptoms and,
And et cetera.
Oh,
Beautiful,
Julie.
I have a clenched gut.
Yes.
So the contraction of the solar plexus,
Right?
The contraction there.
And I love that you bring that up and we're going to talk a little bit more about what goes on with the nervous system there.
But yes,
That can be a lot of like tension in the nervous system as well.
So so that's the,
The small intestines,
Right?
And then,
You know,
You have a little bit also of the bladder there as well,
Which the bladder of course is water,
Right?
The water release out of your body and the feminine is the water.
So what is the capability of the water?
Is there fluidity,
Right?
Because again,
Sacral is not just about receiving,
It's about being open.
And one of the things I've spoken of a lot is like open hands,
Right?
When we're open,
We receive and we release,
We receive and we let go,
Right?
And that's really getting into the lower digestive system,
The colon,
The ability to let go,
Right?
The feeling of safety,
The feeling sacral chakra of open,
Full openness,
Kind of like liberation,
The fluidity of a movement in and out,
Right?
And the releasing.
So of course in the colon,
You know,
If you can't release,
Right?
If you're backed up,
If you're constipated,
It's also can be in the root chakra where you're not feeling safe,
Right?
You're not relaxed in that space.
Okay.
But also again,
Like an over expressed,
Over expression in those chakras can also be like not being able to hold on to anything,
Right?
Like it comes out too easily,
Too quickly.
There's no retaining of energies whatsoever,
Right?
So sacral chakra,
You know,
Is a lot of receiving and connection and sexual energy,
Shakti,
Right?
And root chakra is of course the feeling of safety in the physical body,
In the physical environment.
Okay.
So sacral chakra in my opinion is one of the chakras that holds the most distortion for the most part in most people where we don't feel like we can be open,
Be vulnerable,
Receive and connect.
Okay.
So it's also your intuitive center in a large sense of being able to really also understand what your body intuitively wants and needs.
Okay.
And so if you can't hear your body,
You also can't hear what your body needs or doesn't want in your digestive system,
Which is a really big deal because ultimately,
You know,
It's not necessarily that we should or shouldn't eat things.
It's more what does our body need right now,
Right?
Versus I shouldn't eat this or I should eat that.
It's more of learning how to reconnect to the intelligence of our body to be able to give it what it ultimately needs.
And then of course,
You know,
Like infections within the urinary tract as well.
It's not a digestive system,
But I just wanted to bring that in because it was a similar area.
And then you have things like Crohn's disease and what's the other one with the gluten sensitivity or gluten.
Come on.
It's right on the tip of my tongue.
You guys know what I'm talking about.
Celiacs.
Thank you.
I knew one of you would come through with me.
Celiac,
Right?
So there's a sensitivity there and there's an inflammation there,
But I really love how sensitivity is coming in.
Right?
Intolerance.
I love that Annette,
Right?
So if you think of like intolerance or sensitivity,
Like not the ability to really be with a certain emotion.
I never thought of that.
This is why I love these conversations because I always like learn so much,
Right?
Of celiacs or even Crohn's like the ability to not really be with certain emotions and emotional states of being right and feeling safe in those energies.
Right?
So there's a level of closing down to the availability there and creating intolerances and sensitivities.
Right?
And there's something even more there with sensitivity.
And it really,
What I'm hearing is it really goes into,
Vulnerability,
Right?
And I have whole conversations on my take on vulnerability and what I feel and believe what vulnerability really is.
And so just very briefly,
I believe that vulnerability starts with ourself,
Like the vulnerability to ourself.
Okay.
But if we,
Again,
We don't feel like it is safe to be vulnerable,
Right?
We will feel exposed.
We will feel like we're in spaces that we shouldn't be,
Right?
Or we're opening ourselves in ways that aren't safe.
So that really comes in with like the intolerances and the sensitivities like that isn't safe.
That particular,
Whatever that is,
That vibration,
That emotion isn't safe.
Right?
So there's a level of shutdown and sensitivity there.
So very intriguing in my opinion.
And while we're on this subject,
I want to just say,
You know,
I've had a lot of digestive issues my entire life.
Okay.
Like since I was a little kid.
So,
And I've healed them and I've gone from having stomach cramps that from as being a child,
Young child,
That didn't seemingly have any origin to becoming very ill and becoming gluten sensitive and egg sensitive.
And what else was I sensitive to?
I had this big list of shit I couldn't eat because I was,
You know,
Quote unquote,
Allergic to it and sensitive to it.
And over time of changing my diet,
But more importantly,
Really working on my energy,
I healed my body to where I can literally eat everything now.
I don't,
I choose not to.
I choose to listen to my body and really give it what it wants and what it needs.
But I just use myself as an example here because I really understand the battle and the frustration of digestive issues.
So I just want to speak to any of you who are going through any of this from my heart.
Okay.
I know how just difficult it can be.
And so I'm not here just to say like open your sacral chakra and fix yourself.
Like that's not where I'm coming from.
Okay.
I'm just here to give you more information so that you can help yourself and heal yourself.
Okay.
So yeah.
Endometriosis.
And then what is,
Is that the one where it's a holding onto in the colon?
I think so.
And it starts to kind of create holes in the colon.
A colon that isn't it colonitis.
I mean,
There's,
There's all kinds of things I don't even know,
Right?
But in the lower chakras,
In the sacral and the root,
It's a lot of,
You know,
Under-expressed chakras there because for the most part,
Humanity just doesn't feel safe in the physical body and in the emotional body.
So most of those chakras,
I rarely,
I don't know if I've ever come in contact with somebody who is overexpressed in the root or overexpressed in the sacral,
Interestingly enough,
Which I just realized now.
So that's fun,
Right?
They're mostly more shut down,
Closed down.
Yeah.
In,
In that space.
So there's not good energy flow.
And again,
Like the main thing of the sacral is there's not a receiving energy there and you know,
The root,
There's not a relaxation and a letting go,
Right?
A rooting into the,
The physical rooting into Gaia.
Like you imagine tree roots coming down,
Right?
Those aren't,
Those aren't there,
Right?
So there's not this connection and this ability to let go.
Yeah.
Interesting.
Riley endo is inner part of the uterus.
Oh,
Okay.
Oh yes.
Okay.
That's interesting.
Yeah.
Which is not digestive.
Oh,
I guess it is.
Cause yeah,
It grows into the abdomen.
So yeah,
Super interesting.
That's really interesting.
And we could go on and on about reproduction and all of that.
Right.
But and the womb is its own,
Its own,
Maybe I'll do one about the womb because I'm just sensing so much information there.
Okay.
Okay.
So those are kind of the basis of the chakras,
Right?
And you obviously,
You know,
You can go even more into it and really understanding,
But you can really sense in yourself as I'm saying these things,
Which ones,
If not,
Maybe all of them,
Right?
You're,
You're not fully open in right.
And how that's going to directly affect your your digestive system.
Right.
And then the next part is,
Is our vagus nerve.
Okay.
So our vagus nerve and you know,
Again,
Like not a doctor here,
Not a doctor,
Not a doctor.
Right.
So I said,
I wouldn't say this a couple of times about the conversation.
I'm going to say it again.
Like this is not medical advice.
If you're experiencing,
You know,
Things with your physical body,
You should go seek help from somebody.
Right.
But I'm here to bring a deeper insight in for you guys to gain some more information and really so that you can help yourself.
Okay.
So the vagus nerve.
Okay.
So the vagus nerve runs from,
It's a,
It's a massive,
It's not just one nerve.
It's a,
It's a super highway of a plethora of different nerves that work together.
And it's really the main highway of communication going from your small intestines all the way up to your ears.
So it communicates small intestines,
You know stomach,
Of course,
All of the digestive system,
You know,
Your,
Your adrenals and kidneys,
You know,
Your lungs,
Your heart your liver,
All of that up into your ears.
Okay.
So it's this massive highway of communication and information.
So if you think about,
You know,
Our body is constantly releasing chemicals,
But it has to be able to communicate in order and communicate well.
It's kind of like what I get right now is telephone,
Right?
Like telephone is communication.
I don't mean our actual telephone.
I mean the game telephone,
Like it communicates,
Just doesn't communicate effectively.
Right.
So you can think of communication as it really needs not just communication,
It needs effective communication.
Okay.
So the vagus nerve is also our rest and digest.
Okay.
It's really the space that helps us come out of and,
And work through fight or flight and into rest and digest.
Okay.
That part there is just massive to understand.
It's,
It's also,
I could go again,
Like whole conversation on just the vagus nerve,
But I just briefly want to say it also connects the subtler bodies to our gross bodies and our subconscious mind to our conscious mind.
So it's a big effing deal,
Right?
But with the digestive system,
Okay,
It's running right through the entire digestive system and there's a big like ball of nerves over your solar plexus and in,
In that area.
And those nerves have a lot to do with fight or flight.
Right.
And what I started getting channeled back in 2020 is actually in the fall of 2019,
I started getting the message that we were going to need to stop.
Humanity was going to need to stop this incessiveness of doing,
Doing,
Doing,
Or we were going to get slapped.
And I started telling clients this,
I started healing,
Started coming in on people's vagus nerve.
I had no idea what it meant and I had no idea what was coming.
Right.
So then 2020 shows up and what shows up well,
We're forced to stop.
Right.
And the whole point of a lot of that,
There's many different things that happened,
Multi-layered reasons why we went through COVID and that's a whole nother conversation.
Right.
But one of the reasons it all happened was to stop us so that we could start to repair the incessiveness and the addiction that we've had to fight or flight.
Okay.
Where again,
What I was saying with the solar plexus,
We have put so much value in doing,
And that,
You know,
Who we are is quantifiable by what we have achieved,
Right?
By what we do,
By who we are,
Right?
Which is none of that is ultimately true,
But that's been our society.
So there's been some level of truth in that in our society.
So we've been rat racing ourselves,
Ignoring our constant state of tension,
Anxiety,
Stress.
Okay.
And so that's just,
We've been living on very,
Very high stress levels.
Maybe you personally haven't,
Maybe you personally have or have not,
But humanity as a whole,
Like that's why it's called the rat race.
Okay.
So these really high levels of stress basically didn't allow us to come in to rest and digest.
Okay.
Where there is for one,
A release of stress out of the nervous system,
The nervous system,
Lets go of the stimulation and the stress of the day.
Okay.
Or of the week or of the year or of the lifetime.
There's none of that,
Right?
We've just been holding onto that stress in our vagus nerve.
So that release didn't happen.
And that's just caused more and more tension and more and more out of the body.
Okay.
Our energy,
Most people's energy,
If they haven't done a lot of awareness of their chakras and of their body,
They are up,
Up in their solar plexus.
Their energy is not in their lower chakras.
Okay.
So they're up out of the body.
Out of the body is just a term and I use it very loosely,
But basically the energy really starts up here and above.
Okay.
Meaning that they're really in their mental activity.
They're in their mind,
They're in their mental body.
They're not down in their physical and emotional bodies and they're not down in their digestive system.
Right?
So again,
There's a clamping,
A contraction,
A reduction of flow of energy in the digestive system.
Okay.
And then again,
That nervous system is always on this very peaked stimulated state.
Okay.
Now imagine yourself like on a lot of stimulants,
Like whether that's coffee or whatever your,
Whatever your thing is,
If that's cocaine,
I'm just joking.
Right.
Whatever that like,
If you were to just load yourself on stimulants,
Right?
You're,
You're shaky and you're very reactive.
You're not relaxed and passive and receiving,
Right?
You're kind of like,
You've got to do something.
You're tight,
You're tense and you're over,
Overactive over.
Yeah,
I would say overactive.
Right?
So you can really think of those differences,
Like yourself in your very relaxed state.
Maybe if you were to take like something like chamomile or something that really relaxes your body and you just like,
Ah,
And you're really in the present moment and you're breathing really nicely and we'll get to that as well.
Right?
You're breathing deeply.
You're,
You're really present in the moment.
You're relaxed.
Your body is relaxed versus if you're in the stimulants,
You're tight and you're,
You're shaky and you're in sessive,
Right?
There's this in sessiveness.
If you've,
You've,
You've got to do something and you got to do more than one thing and it's not enough.
Right?
So you can think of that as your vagus nerve and the difference between really being a state of rest and digest and this constant fight or flight.
Okay.
And we trained ourselves to think that this was the norm and this,
This tension was the norm and therefore we didn't,
It's okay to cycle in and out of them.
Like it's,
We're,
Our bodies are actually meant to go into some level of stress,
Right?
But to cycle back out of it into rest and digest and then to cycle through,
That's possible because if you think about,
Like if you go,
You know,
And um,
Stand in front of people and talk that can cause a level of stress.
Like if you're putting yourself in a,
In a state of discomfort to grow,
To expand,
Right?
To become a better person,
There can be a level of stress with that.
But when we're not allowing ourselves to rest and digest,
We're not really releasing those stimulants out of our vagus nerve and out of our body.
We're holding onto them.
Okay.
So all of that tension,
That anxiety,
That worry,
Whatever it is,
Gets held onto in the vagus nerve.
Okay.
And this really reduces the communicative ability of this freeway,
This,
This freeway structure that really communicates gut to brain.
Okay.
And tells,
You know,
The brain what the gut needs and tells the,
The gut,
You know,
How,
What,
What to do and how to operate and the releasing of chemicals and hormones that need to happen to keep our body healthy.
That doesn't happen.
Or it happens partially.
Like just like I said,
The game telephone,
Right?
Like the wires get miscommunicated,
Right?
Things don't,
Don't really come through properly.
Organs aren't,
You know,
Operating the way that they should.
Okay.
So it's all really interesting when you begin to understand the state we've been in.
Now,
Adding on top of all of this is our breath.
Okay.
How many of you are now consciously breathing into your stomach all the time,
Belly breathing,
Right?
How many of you have retrained yourself?
Cause you did as a baby.
If you watch a baby breathe,
Their belly moves up as they inhale.
Right.
And then pretty soon on into childhood,
We stopped doing that.
And we really bring our breath up here again,
Just like I said,
Our energy starts to come up here.
We started to bring our breath up here.
Now we're not breathing into the vagus nerve.
We're not breathing into those lower chakras.
Okay.
The interesting thing about the breath is it too brings those energies,
You know,
From our mouth and our lungs down into our lower chakras.
So again,
The subtle bodies more into the gross bodies.
Okay.
And again,
We become contracted in breath,
Right?
We can't breathe well.
We can't breathe freely.
There's tension there.
Okay.
So not breathing into the belly,
The holding of tension in those areas also is going to restrict.
I mean,
Just,
Just imagine like there was,
I'll give you guys an example.
There was a point that I many years ago was working on my solar plexus and I came home after a session with a shaman and I knew I had to start breathing into my belly,
Even though he didn't say that.
And I went to go breathe in my belly and it was just like tight and like there was no movement there.
You know,
It wasn't free flowing and moving.
It was like,
And I would,
And I sat there and just very gently kept coaxing my body.
It took me like 40 minutes to get really any sort of movement there.
And it still wasn't like,
Oh,
That feels so good.
It was still kind of like,
Eh,
It feels better.
It feels like there's some movement,
But it's not like fluid,
Right?
It's not flowing.
It's not open.
It's not free,
Right?
It's still contracted intense.
And then I actually,
After doing that,
I actually broke out in my skin as energy was being released out of my solar plexus.
And,
You know,
It took me years to really just unconsciously now breathe in my belly and feel that fluidity of movement there again.
Okay.
Because again,
It's always about the movement.
The whole universe is about contraction,
Expansion.
Birth is about contraction,
Expansion.
It's about receiving,
Giving,
Receiving,
Giving,
Right?
So we need to be able to do that in our breath,
Through our digestive system,
Through our body.
Okay.
When my dad passed in January,
I was having the worst stomach cramps and reflux all caused by stress and grief.
Oh yes,
Mary.
I changed my diet and came back to meditation and breath work.
Wonderful.
What a beautiful story.
Thank you.
Thankfully feeling much better.
That's the exact,
That there is absolutely perfect.
Perfect example of what we're speaking of here today.
Thank you so much,
Mary,
For sharing that with us.
And P says the same thing happened to me when my brother passed away five years ago.
Yeah.
And many of you may have experienced it with just some level of stress.
Like if you change jobs or you end a marriage or something really stressful comes into your life,
You know,
People often say that they start having stomach issues.
Right.
And a lot of that has to do with the stress that they're holding and the fact that they're not breathing and they're not open and they're not relaxed in those spaces.
Right.
So yeah.
So just to recap here,
Right,
We're talking about the solar plexus and what that governs.
Right.
And how having an underexpressed or overexpressed solar plexus can affect the stomach,
The gallbladder,
And the pancreas.
Right.
And the sacral chakra generally underexpressed reduces the ability of the body to receive its nutrients and you know,
The colon and the root chakra not being able to let go,
Feeling safe,
Right.
Feeling able to ground into the physical experience.
And then the vagus nerve,
Right.
Feeling that constant tension and anxiety and have to do,
Do,
Do.
Right.
So one of the big key takeaways I want you guys to understand here,
And I'm sure you've heard this before,
But specifically correlating to your digestive system is that you are truly valuable simply in your beingness.
Now,
Yes,
We are going to take action in life and action is important to actualize our Shakti,
Our creative energy into the physical.
We do that through action,
Right?
But the difference is that our value is not based off of those actions and,
Or our value or our worth is not based off of the results of those actions.
Okay.
And,
And,
And that the breath is so important to be able to breathe into your belly more and more.
And if,
If you don't do it,
It's not comfortable.
So you have to practice and work your body to be able to release the tension it's holding there.
Ah,
So now you can have that movement of that expansion and the contraction,
Right.
And the understanding ultimately of how to heal your nervous system and your vagus nerve so that you can move regularly into rest and digest mode.
Okay.
Which is ultimately relaxation.
Okay.
You can tell when you're in rest and digest because you're relaxed.
Okay.
Which through relaxation is different than just resting,
Resting and relaxation are different.
Okay.
Interestingly enough,
You can rest and still be in some level of tension,
Right?
But deep level relaxation is going to be in the vagus nerve,
Your vagus nerve and all of the corresponding organs are going to relax.
The tension is going to let go.
Now everything is open,
Right?
Energy and communication is moving freely through your body.
Okay.
That's true relaxation.
And relaxation is achieved through really feeling that you are safe and secure and loved in the physical body,
In the physical experience.
Okay.
So that takes practice.
But just to give you some real key focuses here of understanding the chakras,
Right?
And which one of yours or which ones of yours are perhaps more shut down or holding onto energy and how that correlates to your digestive system.
So therefore which chakras you can focus on and help heal yourself and help open up and heal those chakras so that those corresponding organs heal,
Right?
And the vagus nerve and understanding how to bring really slowing down your life and becoming intentional with action,
Right?
Slowing down your life,
Learning how to relax the mental body,
The emotional body and the physical body to reach deep levels of relaxation,
Which obviously meditation is beautiful for that.
And a lot of other types of modalities that really work to relax the bodies and relax the nervous system,
Right?
So again,
You can get more and more into the rest and digest and then your body will naturally learn and remember how to cycle back and forth between rest and digest in a more heightened stimulated state.
And it will learn how to cycle back through again.
Okay.
And then the last one was the breath and remembering,
Retraining yourself to breathe more into your belly for the same thing,
To create space,
To create movement,
To create the natural movement of expansion and contraction,
Okay?
And moving your body more back into its natural state of being.
So I hope this has brought you some wonderful insight.
And you know,
One of the things I really work with is helping people to release these energies and really learn how to embody themselves again,
Which is really what we were talking about today,
To relax the bodies,
Come into your body and open up to your own innate power.
