And just become aware of the room around you.
Become aware of the clothes touching your skin.
Can you feel the space between your body and the four walls around you?
Can you sense the space between your body and the ceiling?
Can you sense the space between your body and the floor?
And let's begin to ground,
Sending roots to the center of the earth.
Flowing down through your feet,
Between the cement and the rocks,
The gravel,
The soil,
The roots,
As far as you can reach.
And begin to just become aware of your body and the sensations that are there.
How are you feeling?
What are you feeling?
Where are you feeling?
Can you describe the sensations?
Does it feel warm?
Cool?
Heavy?
Light?
Tingly?
Prickly?
Is there a texture?
A color?
Or a shape?
Just becoming aware.
Nothing to change.
Nothing to fix.
And as you have dialed into your body,
Let us take 10 deep conscious breaths.
Breathing in through the mouth,
Filling the belly,
And exhaling the air,
Allowing it to flow,
Not forcing.
Breathing in,
Let it go.
Last one.
All the way in,
A little bit more,
And hold.
And release.
Visualize yourself walking into the movie theater with the ticket in hand,
Walking through the door.
You see a big screen.
You're excited for this movie.
It is something that you've wanted to see for a long time.
You sit in the front row,
Curious about the plot of this movie.
And as the lights darken,
And the film begins to roll,
You realize the movie that's playing is your ideal life.
With all of your goals,
Dreams,
And aspirations complete.
What are you watching yourself do?
How are you interacting?
What are people saying about you?
What are you saying about the people you surround yourself with?
What kind of conversations are you having?
What do you do for a living?
Where do you live?
What kind of car do you drive?
How do you interact with your family?
