Chakra Breathing to Open Up the Heart This breath work is intended to open up the heart space and allow more energy,
Presence,
Guidance and support into your life and into your moment.
To begin,
Just get relaxed in your seat,
Taking a nice deep inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Just relaxing and noticing the sensations of the body.
How are you feeling today?
What are you feeling today?
Is the body feeling light or heavy,
Warm or cool,
Prickly or tingly?
Just take a moment to notice and be aware.
And now our practice for today will be a double inhale and a single exhale chakra breathing method.
And as you breathe,
Your intention is to hold your awareness on your heart space.
And every time you breathe in,
You're breathing into the chest,
Opening up the chest,
Opening up the shoulders,
Allowing the shoulders to draw down,
And as you exhale,
Allow the body to relax a little bit more,
Getting a little bit softer.
This breathing technique is meant to be done through the mouth and there's an option to inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth,
Whatever feels most comfortable for you today.
Breathe it in,
Let it go.
Breathe it in,
Let it go.
Breathe it in,
Let it go.
And keep going.
Breathe in a little deeper.
Keep going.
Allow the body to soften just a little bit more.
Keep going.
Can you breathe in 1% deeper?
Keep going.
Can you let go 1% more?
Keep going.
And last breath in.
Hold at the top.
And let it go.
Just relax,
Returning back to your normal pattern of breathing for one moment,
Noticing the sensations in the body.
Has anything changed?
Has anything shifted?
In relaxed presence,
Let's begin round two.
Breathe it in,
Let it go.
Breathe it in,

Let it go.
And keep going.
Breathe in a little deeper.
Keep going.

You may now move into your most comfortable position,
Whether it's laying down or sitting up.
But just stay present,
