Thank you all for joining today's meditation.
The theme for this meditation is resilience.
I invite you to find a more comfortable position to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes as we start to focus on the movement of the breath.
Follow the breath as it moves in and out of the body.
Allow the body to extend,
Pulling the shoulders down and ground into the belly,
Into the diaphragm.
Feeling the elongation of the spine as we drop the shoulders down and extend the breath down into the belly,
Into the diaphragm and we lengthen,
Extend through the spine towards the crown of the head.
Let us reconnect to our bodies,
To that stillness within us.
Ease into this moment.
Let the physical world around you continue to exist as we let go of our attachments,
Granting ourselves permission to ease into the stillness,
Into the peace within ourselves.
As we do so,
It becomes easier to quiet the mind.
Use the breath to create space between the chatter in the mind,
Helping to slow the flow of repetitive thoughts.
As the space between our thoughts begin to slow,
It becomes easier to observe our thoughts without becoming attached to them.
Become a witness to your thoughts as they float into the mind and out.
Let us sink deeper into ourselves.
As we breathe,
We focus the breath upon our third eye.
Breathe into the center point of the brow.
With each breath,
Feel the brow become more relaxed,
More at ease.
Feel as the muscles in the skin,
The brow around the eyes,
Soften and you allow the jaw to relax,
Allowing the facial muscles to ease into stillness.
As we continue to breathe into our third eye,
Feel as the space begins to open and expand.
Deep breaths in and exhale it out.
Allow your intuition to grow and expand our creative force.
As we breathe,
Let us remove any sense of doubt,
Fear or limitations.
Let us remove our worries and allow the troubled mind to float back into the nothingness from which it came.
As we inhale,
We are breathing in new life and deforming the creative power within.
As we exhale,
We release what no longer serves us.
Breathing in,
We say to ourselves,
I am resilient,
I am resilient,
I am resilient.
Allow the mind to flood with images and actions.
As we inhale,
We are breathing in new life and deforming our truths.
As we exhale,
We say to ourselves,
I am resilient,
I am resilient,
I am resilient.
Those thoughts or images that come to mind which are contrary or do not affirm this truth,
We simply acknowledge and release,
Refraining ourselves from becoming attached to those disbeliefs.
I am resilient,
I am resilient,
I am resilient.
Recall a moment or a difficult condition you were in,
One that appears overwhelming or too much to endure.
Allow yourself to be present with it.
Deep inhale,
And as you exhale,
Repeat to yourself,
I am resilient,
I am resilient,
I am resilient.
Deep inhale,
And as you exhale,
Repeat to yourself,
I am resilient,
I am resilient,
I am resilient.
Inject the certainty,
Your strength,
The ability to endure and see yourself as the resilient being you are and elevate to a higher place.
If the mind wanders or defaults to negative thoughts,
Simply dismiss and reaffirm your truths,
I am resilient,
I am resilient,
I am resilient.
With the next inhale,
We breathe deeper into the body,
Helping us reconnect to our toes,
Our fingers,
Our joints,
Our muscles,
As we feel our space,
Our surroundings.
Take a moment to acknowledge the power and the creativity that lies within you.
And gratitude for such a practice as you give yourself love and acceptance.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Thank you for joining us today for this meditation.
The light within me honors the light within you.
Namaste.
