This meditation is on creating a productive day.
We suggest this meditation be done in the morning when the mind is clear and receptive.
Find yourself in a comfortable position.
See that it is sitting upright with your legs crossed in lotus.
Allow the arms to extend away from the shoulders,
Resting your hands where they are comfortable.
We'll begin by observing the flow of breath through the nose.
Feel as the breath moves in and out of the body.
Collectively,
Let's take a deep inhale in.
As you exhale,
Sigh it out.
Once more,
Deep breath in.
As you exhale,
Sigh it out.
Slowly we'll count from 10 to 1.
As we descend,
Allow yourself to release control of the body.
Release more into the stillness of where you are.

Losing control of our surroundings,

Letting go of our attachments,

Deep breath in,
Exhale it out.
Allow this moment of calmness to invite an opening to your inner awareness.
What is the state of mind and the state of being you want to be in today?
The state of being that will allow you to have a more fulfilling and productive day.
How does that feel?
Allow those feelings to flow throughout your body.
Connect to this flow with ease and grace.
Open to expansive creativity of the universe,
Letting the movement of time be on your side.
Let time flow with you.
Can you remain open to the limitlessness of the universe,
Trusting your greatest good is always unfolding?
How can you release control and be open to the willingness of creativity and time?
Stay breathing,
Observe the movement of the breath flowing through your being.
The entire being becomes one,
The entire being becomes one,
Working in unison.
As you sense the movement flowing through your body,
Discover what is your why.
Why do you desire a productive day?
Recall some of the motivation,
The incentives you may have.
See the outcome,
The reward that is waiting for you.
Feel as this drive moves through you,
As you discover your purpose.
Allow yourself to rest in this space.
The body is calm,
Poised and receptive.
The mind is focused and alert.
How does it feel to work with your drive and clarity of focus?
Rehearse in your mind the principles that led you to be so productive.
The removal of distractions,
The following of priorities,
The disciplines you have mastered.
You are one with the world around you.
Imagine yourself in a productive state of mind throughout the day.
What is a situation from the day ahead that you want to be productive and effective?
Enter into a state of knowingness that time and creativity are on your side.
The universe will always conspire with you,
Never against you.
Stay breathing.
Stay alert.
No longer fearful of our long to-do lists.
Observe as the being flows effortlessly from one task to another,
Full of joy and bliss.
Follow your curiosity and inspiration like a hummingbird flying from one flower to another and enjoy the sweet nectar.
Everything works out perfectly as you enjoy completely the different tasks at hand.
Witness as the creative possibilities unfold naturally and with ease.
Notice the higher version of you flow through the day,
Connected to the surrounding world.
Notice how that feels,
Happy,
Fun,
Passionate.
What else do you observe?
Imagine yourself at the end of your day having accomplished so much.
Notice how you feel having added value to the world.
Let these good feelings wash over you and see this state of mind building within you,
Full of purpose as the energy flows through your being.
Know that you are at one,
Connected and able to be productive in all activities you may do.
Deep inhale,
Exhale it out.
Gradually we'll count back from 1 to 10.
With each breath,
Feel more connected to the body and the surrounding space.
10,
9,

Taking deeper breaths,

Feeling more refreshed,

Gradually coming back to the body.
Allow the hips to move side to side.
Roll the shoulders back,

And when you're ready,
Open your eyes.
Ready for a productive and enjoyable day.
Thank you for this meditation.
Namaste.
