Thank you for joining in today's meditation.

The theme for this meditation is on relieving stress.

I invite you to once again find a comfortable position to sit or lie down.

Close the eyes as we shift our focus upon the movement of the breath.

Follow the breath as it moves in and out of the body.

Allow the breath to expand as it moves down into the chest,

Pulling the shoulders away from the ears as we lengthen through the crown of the head.

Allowing the breath to deepen into the belly,

Into the diaphragm.

Our arms extend.

Allow yourself a few breaths to breathe into this space.

Can we relax and surrender into the stillness?

Let go of the physical distractions around you,

Granting permission to ease into the stillness.

We release the day,

The week.

We let go of the work,

The responsibilities,

The caring for others,

Feeling lighter,

More at ease.

We let go of expectations,

The need to be busy.

Let us simply be.

Allow yourself to reconnect to the peace that dwells within.

Observe the serenity of where you are.

This is your true state of being,

A state of bliss,

Of peace,

Of joy.

Feel the fulfillment you are experiencing as it expands beyond you.

This is your true self,

Expansive,

Limitless.

Can we invite thoughts or beliefs that are contrary?

We are creating a moment of separation.

And feelings of isolation,

Frustration,

Loneliness,

Comparison may arise.

Let us rebuke these illusions.

One is always connected to their expansive self.

Stress is a buildup of fears of the futures.

We allow the mind to wander through the fears,

The sense of loss,

The possibilities of disappointments.

It creates outcomes to scenarios where we create our own self-sabotage.

In this space,

Bring to mind the stress you have in this moment.

It can be your work,

Relationships,

Health,

Money.

Whatever comes to mind is fine.

When we have this stressful thought,

Who are you?

When you have this thought,

What do you feel in your body,

In your heart space,

In your mind?

Does this stress have to be true?

Is it absolutely true?

Are you willing to see another possibility?

Another course of events.

Deep inhale.

As you exhale,

Release what no longer serves you.

Letting the breath carry it out of the being.

In the center of the chest,

A bright radiating light within you is emanating from the heart space.

Allow this light to consume your being.

This is your higher self.

Notice who you are when you no longer are focused on the stress,

No longer consumed by fears or limiting thoughts.

What happens to the mind,

To the body,

To the emotions?

Let yourself ease deeper into this state of peace.

Inhale,

You breathe in new life,

New energy.

As we exhale,

The breath carries the stress away.

Feel as the brow softens,

The jaw at ease.

Let yourself elevate.

Slowly you start to take deeper breaths back into the body.

Breathing back into the belly,

Into the diaphragm,

Reconnecting to the physical world around you.

Hold gratitude for your practice.

Give yourself love.

You have absolute sovereignty over your state of mind.

Nothing can take your peace of mind away from you unless you willingly give it up.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

The light within me honors the light within you.

Namaste.
