Now take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose and let it out through your mouth.
Take one more breath in through your nose and let it escape out through your mouth.

Now think about a current situation that you do not like or you would like to have a solution to.
See yourself standing in the middle of the situation or in the middle of the question you have.
Now looking up ahead in front of you,
Sitting there is a giant hot air balloon waiting just for you.
It is a gorgeous,
Brilliant color,
The perfect color for you today.
Take a look at your balloon.
It might have a picture on the outside.
It might have spots or stripes.
Imagine it just as you would like it to be,
Decorating it in a special way so that you know that the balloon is just for you.
Maybe you put your name on it somewhere special or you imagine it has a picture that is very special to you.
Imagine as you would like it to be.
Now stepping out of the situation picture you were looking at,
Knowing you can come back to it in a bit,
Walk over to that hot air balloon and get inside the basket.
Gently allow the balloon to lift off,
Taking you up,
Up,
Up,
Far away into the sky.
As you are floating you know that you are perfectly safe.
And now as you are floating way up into the sky you can look down on the situation that you were thinking about before,
The one that you wanted a solution to.
Now you are no longer a part of the situation but you can still see yourself and your part in it.
As you are watching you begin to see many different options.
Begin to feel yourself having a big picture viewing point.
As you are looking at the situation you can see all the other things that are related to the situation.
Seeing it from many different angles.
Looking down,
Looking at the sides,
Seeing the big picture.
As you are looking at the situation what do you see that might be a little bit different than when you were inside the situation?
Allow yourself to think of any new options or new ideas to gently come into your mind.
Now imagine that your balloon,
Safe,
Secure and comfy carries you a little bit into the future beyond the current time of the situation.
What would you want the future you to know about the situation?
What would the future you want to tell you about the situation that you are looking down upon?
Listen to what your wise future self has to say.
Now that you have listened to your wise future self and you have gathered the options that are available to you about the situation,
Allow your balloon to carry you gently back down to the ground.
You are ready to face the situation with the cool,
Calm and collected you knowing that you carried the big picture along with you now.
So take another breath in,
In through your nose and blowing it out through your mouth.
Gently allow your attention to come back to the space that you are in.
Wiggle your toes,
Maybe wiggle your fingers,
Begin to rub your hands slowly together warming them up and when they are warm,
Lightly place them over your eyes.
