And welcome to the session.
I invite you to take a seat.
Or lie down.
And get yourself comfortable.
You can close down the eyes if you wish just begin by slowing down the breath in through the nose low into the belly.
And slow.
Taking a moment to check into the body and the mind just releasing any surface level tensions and thoughts and other things that are floating around.
And when you're ready placing your hand upon your heart space.
And grounding yourself there.
Feeling the warmth of the hand upon your skin I'd like to visualize this space,
The heart space.
The self.
As a glowing ball of energy.
Or a light.
Or flame.
And whatever colour manifests for you.
Growing brighter and stronger with the breath.
This is Euranka your home base.
If at any point during this session you find yourself lost.
Distracted.
Wondering or overwhelmed.
Turn your focus back to the heart space.
Back to the breath.
Back to the sensation of the hand upon your skin In this session we'll be practicing something that I call intuitive guidance This is deep inner work.
Parts Work.
We're going to connect with a part of our past.
Part of our personality.
Part of her body.
Place that is holding on to something.
Part of us that is still in a roll.
That kept us safe.
All the way back when.
But now is struggling to let go and to reintegrate.
We call it intuitive guidance because this process is deeply intuitive.
It is you,
From the heart space,
From the self.
Connecting to these parts.
Forming a relationship with them.
And I'll provide guidance.
Or framework.
Suggestions.
But ultimately it's you reconnecting with the self from this place of the self,
The heart space.
Intuition.
Going to adopt an attitude.
Of compassionate curiosity.
Calm confidence.
As we invite a part in to the session.
Find where this part is sitting in the body.
We may place another hand there.
Just your attention upon it.
Really feeling the sensations in that part of the body deeply.
No judgement.
Not moving towards or away just witnessing.
Just accepting.
Just feeling.
To hold that the body keeps the score.
That something or many things happened.
And at the time we were unable to,
Or did not know how,
To release and to reintegrate.
That the body held onto it.
And it's expressing this fact.
With bodily sensations.
The pain.
With chronic issues.
With thinking patterns and impulses.
Will hold their emotions and sensations and messages.
And today.
In this intuitive guidance session We're just going to listen.
From the heart space to the self you visualize a line.
Line of light.
A line of attention,
A line of connection.
From you.
To this part of the body.
With each breath,
With the subtlety and the delicacy of the breath.
You offer.
You are for love.
Trust.
Reconnection It's ever so soft,
Ever so delicate.
But persistent.
Each breath is an opportunity for reintegration.
Each breath is an opportunity for connection.
Each breath is an opportunity for acceptance.
But it's ever so subtle and delicate.
Really feeling the sensations deeply in this part of the body their movement.
Stagnation.
Is it on the surface or deep?
Are the edges sharp or dull?
Are they rigid or porous?
To their tension.
What happens.
When you pay careful attention.
To this part of the body.
Maybe the sensations grow stronger.
Or weaker.
Just approach and accept it all.
Compassionate curiosity.
Calm confidence.
We also open up our mind space to this part of the body.
When doing this intuitive guidance work often you will see visualizations or symbols.
Perhaps a closed door,
Or a dam.
Or fire.
Proceed.
The ocean.
Or a symbol that is personal to you This may come with thoughts and memories and moods and other cognitive practice.
Once again,
If this is happening,
I encourage you to explore it with curiosity.
With compassion.
Calm confidence.
Without judgement.
Take the attitude of an inner parent.
Therapist.
Witnessing.
Feeling.
Accepting.
With unconditional positive regard.
Getting really curious about this poem.
You can ask it.
How old are you?
Or how old do you think I am?
How old are you?
Or how old do you think I am?
Just listening to the response.
And perhaps.
.
.
Letting this part of the body,
This part of you know.
How old you actually are.
Chances are you've been holding onto this thing for years or decades.
And this part may be surprised to know.
How old you are now Let it know the wisdom that has come with time.
The changes in your life.
The growth.
Let it know that You're now safe.
Does it believe you?
Once again making sure that we're paying attention to the sensations in the body becoming aware of the aspects of the mind space.
Approaching and accepting whatever arises.
Compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
You can ask this part of the body.
What role is it doing for us?
Or how is it keeping us safe?
And what would it rather be doing?
If we learned early on that We needed to fight.
Or flee,
Or fawn.
Or drift into,
Freeze or fantasy to survive.
If we learn to do that early on.
Parts of our body get stuck in that role.
But it kept us alive and kept us safe.
So we continue to do it into the future.
Where that response may no longer be necessary or helpful.
So we come back to the part of the body.
Feel the part of the body,
Connect to it.
Offer it love.
And ask it.
What are you doing for us?
How are you keeping us safe?
And then gently offering love reminding this part of the body that we are here now.
We are safe.
With the breath you may say to the part of the body,
The words are the intention behind the words It's OK.
You are safe.
I accept you.
And invite you to release.
It's okay.
You're safe.
I accept you.
And invite you to release.
It's okay.
Was safe.
I accept you.
And invite you to release In a moment we're going to sit in silence for 10 minutes connecting to this part of the body.
Allowing this part of the body,
Part of our past to express.
To share.
I'm going to approach and accept what arises.
What arises in the mind and the body.
With compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
The attitude of a loving and a parent.
Therapist.
Just sitting.
Offering compassion and reintegration.
Just to remind you that at any time you feel the urge to release.
That is to laugh,
To cry,
To scream,
To sleep,
To shake,
To share,
To do so.
And that this process is.
.
.
Deeply intuitive So if from the hard space,
From the self.
From your highest self,
You feel the urge to.
Shift or move or offer.
To ask.
Connect with.
This part.
Or anything else that is arising.
To trust that highest self.
This is the process of integration.
So let's sit for 10 minutes.
And connect to this path Let's begin.
If you'd like to maintain the meditation you're more than welcome to do so.
For everyone else just gently returning.
Back to their bodies.
Back to the moment.
Back to the session.
Back to our day.
In this session we practice intuitive guidance process of sitting in the self of the heart space.
And from there connecting to a part.
Part of ourself,
Part of our past,
Part of our personality.
Part that is holding on to something.
That is doing something.
Part of us that is desperate.
Release and to reintegrate.
While simultaneously not feeling safe to do so.
One that is perhaps stuck in a role of fight,
Flight,
Freeze,
Form or fantasy.
So we connect to it.
We sit and listen.
Accepting it all.
With compassionate curiosity and calm confidence.
With the attitude of a loving and a parent.
Counselor or guide.
Offering this part unconditional positive regard.
Allowing it to express.
Perhaps with the words or the intention behind the words It's okay.
You are safe.
I accept you.
And invite you to release.
You may have been holding onto this for years or decades,
So this is a slow and delicate process.
Ever so slow,
Perhaps with the breath.
Touching upon and returning,
Touching upon and returning in these sessions with a commitment.
Letting this part know that later today or tomorrow.
Sometime soon,
We're gonna come back.
We're going to continue this process.
That this is not a once and done kind of thing.
That yes,
Perhaps we were gone for years.
We didn't know that we were holding on to this for so long.
Now that we do.
Would commit.
Commit to return to reintegration.
To healing.
The self pulling itself back together.
Thank you for joining me.
And I'll see you in the next one.
