And welcome to the session.
I invite you to take a seat.
Or lie down.
And get yourself comfortable.
And close down your eyes if you wish.
Just begin by slowing down the breath.
Breathing in through the nose.
Low into the belly.
And slept.
We're going to begin this session with a brief flame and the void meditation in your mind's eye.
Picturing a flame of fire.
Or perhaps the sun.
Focus your attention upon it.
If you notice yourself getting lost in thought.
Sensation.
Motion.
Distraction.
Gently feed whatever arose into the flame.
Your mind wanders,
If you find yourself lost or distracted.
Gently fade that distraction into the flame.
And continue with this process.
Until there's nothing left to feed.
Then release the flame.
And simply be.
In this moment.
In the void.
In the self.
Or have you conceptualized it?
Wherever you find your mind wandering to.
Become aware of it.
And feed that into the flame.
With love.
Compassion.
So releasing that meditation for the moment we will return to it.
Today we'll be practicing intuitive guidance.
Process whereby we connect to a part of our body.
Part of our past.
Part of our personality.
A part that is holding on to things from the past.
We hold that the body keeps the score.
That things happened.
That were too much at the time.
We hold on to it.
Who get stuck in a row.
Carrying burdens.
Trying to keep us safe.
Behold the emotions,
Sensations.
Are messages.
These parts will try to express themselves.
To share how they're keeping us safe.
To warn us.
And if we don't listen to them Those things will manifest as injuries,
Illness.
Chronic issues.
Thinking Patterns Behavioral Responses So in this session,
We're simply going to listen.
To feel.
To connect.
Approaching and accepting what arises.
Compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
There is a part that you know you wish to work with.
Just gently inviting it into the session feeling the sensations deeply opening up the mind space to this part.
If a part isn't immediately a present.
Just taking a moment to scan your body to scan your mind.
And find a place that is intuitively calling to be worked with.
Maybe strong sensations.
Physical or mental,
Pressures or pains.
Or perhaps numbness.
May be a place of prior injury.
Or chronic tension.
When you find this place.
Gently rest your attention upon it.
And connect to the part that is there.
Part of you.
Part of your past.
Part that is holding on to things.
Just feel the sensations deeply Tracing the outline of the shape noting the edges and the depth of the sensation.
Noting any movement.
Just feeling it all.
Just accepting it all.
Opening up your mind space to this part.
Approaching and accepting any thoughts.
Moods,
Memories.
Visions.
Metaphors that you mind.
Is throwing up.
Just accepting them,
Just being there for them.
Just feeling them.
Taking a moment to ask this part.
How old it is.
Or how old does it think you are?
A world is in.
How old does it think you are?
Chances are.
It's quite young.
Gently let it know.
That time has passed.
Share your current age.
Bring forth to mind the changes that have come since then.
Safer.
Differences in.
Situations.
Change.
Listen to his objections.
Feeling deeply.
Does it believe you?
We act as our own inner parent.
Therapist.
Holding each part with unconditional positive regard.
Is part of you.
May be stuck living in the past.
And may rightly have fears.
Of tensions,
Of beliefs.
So be sit and listen.
And feel.
Just gently encourage towards.
Well,
The truth of reality as it is now.
Could say to this part.
I am here.
I am here.
I am here now.
In this moment.
Is safe.
In a moment.
Will sit together in silence.
With our part.
Approaching and accepting what arises with a compassionate curiosity.
And calm confidence.
In this time you may feel intuitively called to offer.
This part.
Practice of the flame in the void.
Or any other practice you've explored.
With your part together.
You're showing.
Supporting.
Opening this pan.
To release.
To return.
Not trying to put the part into the flame.
Rather help that part of you.
That part of your past.
You way back when.
To practice.
Those fears into the flame.
Those sensations.
Helping that part.
Guiding that pun.
To release.
To return to the moment.
With you,
Now.
Or you may feel called to just simply sit and listen and feel.
Let's begin.
You Okay.
So if you'd like to maintain the meditation You are more than welcome to do so.
With everyone else just gently returning.
To their bodies.
Back to the session.
To their day.
Today we practiced intuitive guidance.
Process whereby we connect with parts of our past.
That's their body.
Parts of us that are holding on to things.
Getting stuck in a roll trying to keep us safe.
We asked.
This part how old it was.
By how odd it thought we were.
And chances are these parts are quite young.
With each time we practice we let them know that we are here now.
Us in this moment.
The self,
The hard space,
Intuition.
We are here now.
And that this moment is safe.
And perhaps with time it can begin to put down the burdens in return.
But we don't rush this process.
Because love.
We also offer this part.
The practice of the flame in the void.
Process whereby you mindfully picture a flame in your mind.
When you find yourself distracted or lost in thought you offer it to the flame.
Continuing to do so until there's nothing left.
And then you release the flame and simply be in the moment,
In the void,
In the self.
We offer this practice.
Part we're working with.
As a way to help it release what it's holding onto.
Gently guarding it.
Showing it some of the tools we've picked up along the way.
We end these sessions with a commitment leading the part of the collection of pots.
That we've been working with know that we're going to return.
That this is not a once and done kind of thing.
The tomorrow.
Later today,
Sometime soon.
We will check back in.
And continue this process.
For as long as it takes.
Finish these sessions with a grounding practice.
Returning ourselves to the present moment.
Ensuring that we are fully back.
Thankfully here.
So maybe rubbing your hands together.
To really feel the sensations arising.
Adding some gentle movement to the body checking in to what you can see hear and feel in this moment.
Saying to yourself.
I am here.
I am here.
I am here now.
This moment.
Is safe.
Thank you for joining me.
And I'll see you in the next session
