Hello my friends,
Welcome back to Your Journey Yoga.
My name is Natalia and I'm here as your guide and your companion on Your Journey with Yoga.
And today we have a guided meditation for reclaiming your energy.
This practice can be done lying down or seated,
Whatever is the most supportive and whatever will allow you to come into a receptive,
Relaxed,
Yet awake state of being.
So take a moment to find any support with blocks,
A cushion,
Or anything else that you might like to have with you,
And we'll begin.
As you arrive here in your meditation position,
Just take a moment here to allow your eyelids to close.
Let your brow unfurrow,
Let your jaw open and relax.
You can take a deep breath in through the nose,
And a nice,
Slow,
Soothing exhale.
Starting to attune to the sensation and the flow of your breath.
Maybe noticing the coolness of your inhales on the inside of your nostrils,
And the warmth of your exhales as you breathe out.
You don't have to change the natural rhythm of your breath unless that feels supportive for your practice.
Perhaps you just allow yourself to receive the breath as it is,
Catching its natural flow,
Letting your awareness float along with it.
With each inhale and each exhale.
You can continue to stay aware of the inflow and outflow of your breath,
But perhaps you start to allow your awareness to expand into the sensations of your body.
Just gathering up whatever information the body may have for you today.
Some of these sensations may be more surface level or they may run a bit deeper.
Some sensations may feel really intense and others may be very subtle.
You don't need to look for any sensation.
Just allow your awareness to expand and to receive whatever it is that's present with you in your physical body right now.
And you can again,
Maintain this awareness of the body and of the breath.
Just allow your awareness to expand into the space that you are in.
Filling the room with your awareness,
Receiving any sounds that are present,
Noticing what the air feels like around you,
Noticing what the surface beneath you feels like,
Connecting your state of being with the fullest of the present moment.
All of your internal sensations,
Any external sensations,
All of the elements of now.
Allowing your awareness to float along with whatever it is that you are receiving in the now.
And as you settle into this expansive awareness,
You might begin to notice that your energy mentally or sensationally starts to get pulled into different directions.
Perhaps to something of the past or something of the future.
Just take a moment to acknowledge how many mental or energetic strands you have extending out beyond yourself to anything that is not happening right now.
Is there something in your external life that feels like it is tugging on your heart?
Is there something in your energy?
This could be a person,
A situation.
It could be something you are planning for.
Just take a moment with this expansive awareness you have to tune in to the mental and energetic strands that are pulling out away from you.
And perhaps this comes in visually for you.
Maybe you even imagine these little strands extending from your mind or extending out from your body.
Noticing what color they are,
What texture they are,
If there's a color associated with these mental or energetic strands.
Following them to where they are connected,
Where this energy is flowing out of you.
Are there some strands that are stronger energetically than others?
What are you giving the most energy?
And how many strands do you have?
How many directions are you being pulled in?
And just acknowledge that there is no right or wrong here.
There's nothing that is necessarily good or bad.
We are just in the practice of noticing.
Noticing,
Giving ourselves the opportunity to acknowledge where we are placing and exerting our energy.
So just trust your intuition.
Trust what is arising for you visually.
Your energy is your most sacred currency,
More than anything materialistic.
So take a moment here as you become aware of the strands of energy extending out beyond you to give yourself permission to start reclaiming some of these strands.
Perhaps visually you begin drawing these energetic and mental strands back into yourself,
Whether that be back into your heart space,
Back into your third eye,
Or somewhere else in the body.
Allow these strands of energy to absorb back into you,
Allowing yourself to become replenished and recharged by reclaiming your energy.
There is nothing more important right now than being exactly where and who and as you are.
Allow yourself to bring your energy back,
Connecting with the sacredness of this internal resource.
Your energy is your currency.
Allow this meditation,
This visualization,
This practice to bring you back to your internal power,
Your internal abundance,
Reclaiming your energy from anything that is exhausting it,
Anything that it doesn't need to be exerted to right now.
Let yourself be replenished.
And as you begin to reclaim your energy,
Notice if there are any bodily sensations that arise,
Anything that you can sense physically or also energetically.
Perhaps you feel more calm,
More awake,
More internally full.
Continue with this visualization,
Continue with reclaiming these strands of energy for these next few moments,
Letting yourself become full again.
You can slowly begin to bring your awareness back into the space you are in.
You can allow your breath to deepen and allow the body to begin to move in ways that feel good for you.
Allow yourself to move in ways that support this energy reclamation today.
Let yourself be whole.
Let yourself be as full as possible with the sacredness of your energetic resource.
You are just as worthy of it as anything else and anyone else in your life.
