Welcome to the outer space peace meditation.
Let's start by taking a nice deep breath in,
And then exhaling completely,
Sitting up nice and straight,
Straight spine,
Level head.
Close your eyes and just picture yourself sitting in the room you're currently in,
Continuing to breathe deeply,
Getting ready for liftoff.
As you breathe in,
Start to pull yourself up from your body,
From your chair,
From your cushion,
Lifting yourself out of the room,
Lifting yourself further above the building you're in,
Allowing yourself to float up higher and higher to where you can now see the town you're in,
The country that you're in,
Seeing the continent below you,
And now you're hovering above the earth.
It's like looking at a blue rubber ball surrounded by swirling white clouds.
As you sit here for a moment breathing,
Enjoy the view of the beautiful blue earth,
Our own universal spaceship,
And now place yourself in orbit.
Start circling the earth,
And as you circle the earth,
Looking down upon it,
Whenever you take an inhale,
Breathe in the fear or pain that might exist in that part of the earth,
That part of our world,
And when you exhale,
Breathe out peace.
So breathe in fear and pain,
Collecting it up,
Sweeping it into your aura,
Filtering it through your basic goodness,
And breathing back down peace towards the earth.
And just keep breathing and orbiting,
Orbiting and breathing,
Filtering out fear,
Exchanging it for peace.
And allow yourself to relax on your cushion or in your chair as you visualize orbiting the earth,
Enjoying the weightlessness of outer space,
The peace of outer space.
And just continue to open your heart,
Breathing in all that anxiety,
All that trepidation that some of the seven billion inhabitants of the earth could be experiencing right now,
Pulling that in with every inhale,
And just exhaling out peace,
Wrapping the earth in a blanket of compassion,
Continuing to breathe and orbit,
To orbit and breathe.
And as you're orbiting and breathing,
Recognize the universal amount,
The infinite amount of basic goodness that you have at your disposal.
Know,
Believe,
And feel the connection to this infinite resource that allows you to hand peace and goodwill to everyone that comes your way without fear of diminishing what you have.
Just giving away peace,
Giving away peace,
Giving away peace as you breathe and orbit around the earth.
And now as you're orbiting earth,
As you come around to that part of the world that you're in,
Slow your orbit down,
Start to hover above your continent,
Start to lower yourself down over the country you're in,
Lower over the city you're in,
Lower over the building you're sitting in,
Bringing yourself back into the room,
Physically back onto your cushion or chair,
Taking a few more deep breaths to acknowledge your connection to your infinite source of well-being and basic goodness,
Spreading that to everyone you meet,
Filtering the pain and fear and anxieties that other people feel and exchanging it for that peace and allowing yourself to do that with every breath you take all day long each and every day no matter what situation you're in.
In that knowledge,
That belief,
That experience,
And sitting in that inner peace yourself.
